Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park - Reviews

View from accommodation was the site scrap yard and rubbish Tip. No Lakeside View as disscribed on Web site. Accommodation was close to the Chichester bypass with continues traffic nose.

Poor,too many thing wrong

I booked this adapted caravan by mistake as it was only booked a week or so before, I was just glad to get accommodation. It was very nice , so much bigger than a regular unit. I did feel a bit guilty as I couldve stopped a person who needed it from booking. The cleaner didnt close the door of the bedroom when vacuuming inside the room and clearly missed the dust behind it.

Great caravan clean and lots of space and storage for all your stuff . The kitchen was equipped just enough to cook food . WiFi was great good value to .

Caravan lovely and clean. Single bed mattresses very uncomfortable lumpy and could feel the springs. Slept upto 6 however only 3 dinner plates and 4 knives and forks, no baking trays for oven cooking.

We stayed in this caravan as there were 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children. This suited us perfectly as there were 2 twin bedrooms and two double bedrooms at separate ends of the caravan. This did mean that there was less living space than caravans we have previously shared but it didnt matter too much as we were out a lot of the time. The beds werent the best as they were waterproof mattresses with no additional padding or protectors. We took our own pillows and this helped. The caravan we stayed in was right next to the A27. It only bothered us once or twice when there were noisy motorcycles going up and down but other than that it was fine. We took a portable fan too so it drowned out the noise. Lack of cooking equipment but were not used to taking our own,So if youre cooking lots, take your essentials. Overall a great stay.

Few spider spiders around the caravan. Also a hair but other then that all good

Two bedroom holiday home which was very comfortable apart from the fact that there were no seat cushions for the outdoor furniture. It turned out this was a sublet and the owners had not left any. Reception unable to help.

Loved our stay here.Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped.Had some issues that were either sorted promptly or other options were offered. Lovely staff (special mention to Jack, the receptionist who was amazing)

Some of the furnishings could do with a spot wash, net curtains somewhat torn by over excited 4 legged friends, but we were satisfied and had a lovely break, and can't wait to book again!

We stayed in a Gold 2 plus with decking which was described as affordable luxury! Not sure where the luxury was as you didnt even get some basics eg bedside or lounge table lights just the main lights; no shower mat, no towel hooks or bathroom storage. The place needed a good clean, it looked clean until you looked around - black mould on windows, bathroom sink water overflow never been cleaned. So disappointed. Several of the caravans near us were occupied by groups of men who arent exactly respectful with their music volume

Lovely holiday, only downside was no out side chairs. We had a lovely week of weather so actually went and bought deck chairs. So nice to be able to sit outside in the afternoon/evening with a glass of wine.

Double bed mattress was poor & no fitted sheet on it!

Lovely caravan, spotless. Location by the lakes was great.

Caravan was great, everyyhing look new however the sofa looked heavily stained. Did not detract from the caravan but it was obviously in need of either replacing or deep clean

Overall a good 4 day break made better by the good weather. Clean and tidy site surrounded by lovely picturesque lakes. Excellent terrace in the restaurant overlooking one of the lakes. Lovely area to sit with food and a drink.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage! The place was spotlessly maintained and super well equipped. Loved the fact that there were plenty of walking spots right outside the door, perfect for the dogs. The host was really friendly and quick to respond. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Well definitely return - such great value! Highly recommend.

Accommodation was as described and had everything we needed for a short break. Would recommend.

Very good location not far from Portsmouth as well not far from Brighton, littlehampton very good place to visit which just 8 miles far from the chechstet lakeside

This is a lovely location especially for families very friendly and helpful staff especially even when under pressure of weather and staff shortages due to sickness …
