We stayed at this cosy little cottage and honestly, its got everything! We didnt need to bring much at all, as the place is super well equipped. The welcome pack was a nice touch, full of useful info and menus, which made settling in easy. The owners, Sharon and Rob, were quick to reply whenever we had questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just the cherry on top. Thanks for a lovely break - well be back for sure!

We stayed at The Elms and really enjoyed it. The place was lovely and overall, its a great spot. Only small thing was the beds-my kids are 15 and 17, so they found them a bit cramped. But apart from that, a really nice stay!

We also enjoyed wandering around Thaxted and nearby villages to soak up the history and charm. Definitely recommend!

The hot tub was such a treat after a long day of cycling. One thing to keep in mind, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt affect our holiday much. Overall, a great find!

The place is really spacious with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom - no complaints there. The bed was super comfy and the garden, totally dog-proof and perfect for relaxing outside. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants - The Star and The Maypole are our favourites. The Swan and Indian are decent too. Wed definitely recommend it!
