Jamies Cragg Holiday Park - Reviews

We had a lovely stay at this quaint cottage! The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us, which was much appreciated. The place itself is beautifully kept, with a charming timber-framed exterior and a cosy feel inside. The shower was surprisingly powerful and the bed was super comfy. Parking right outside made everything so easy. Plus, the walks nearby through the fields to Thaxted are just perfect for a relaxing escape. Definitely recommend!

The place was stunning, super tidy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight!

Really loved the calm vibe here and that Jacuzzi was a treat!

Great experience, friendly staff, will definitely come back!

Really pleased with the cleanliness and even though it's near a busy road, it didnt disturb our sleep at all. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, plus some nice little touches. Highly recommend for a chill escape.

Absolutely loved our stay! The owners really nailed it with all the little touches. Will be telling everyone about this place.

We had a lovely time at Limestone Lodge. The place was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay really pleasant. The only downside was that there wasnt enough comfy seating for four adults - but the staff were so helpful and quick to sort out an extra chair. Cheers to them!

Really enjoyed our stay, the garden was perfect for the dogs and so peaceful overall.

The bedding was missing when we arrived, probably because of Covid. They asked us to bring sheets but didnt provide pillows or a duvet-bit awkward!

Great weekend, everyone really enjoyed it!

Great fun, definitely coming back soon!

Great spot for unwinding or exploring nearby sights, already booked again - love it!

We found the lodge to be really spacious and warm, perfect for our group of four. The outside decking was huge and in summer, it would be lovely to sit outside and enjoy it. The settees in the living area were a bit too soft and quite low, which was a little uncomfortable. The noise from traffic was a bit of a downer, but honestly, wed come back if the price was right. Also, shoutout to the guy who looked after our hot tub, he was really friendly!

Really liked the canopy, its perfect for the hot tub area!

Great experience, would definitely return and suggest it to loved ones!

Will definitely be booking again soon!

The sofa was mostly clean, just a few stains on the cushions though.

We absolutely loved it! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a busy day and the lodge suited our style perfectly. Its super handy being close to loads of places if we fancied exploring a bit.

Really happy with the place overall, just a bit noisy because of the parks location. If it was a little further from the road, itd be spot on!

Nice spot, but prices need to be more reasonable.

Great experience, would happily do it again!

Relaxing stay, perfect for a peaceful getaway away from the hustle.

Had a fantastic time, really appreciated everything this week.

Limestone Lodge really stands out from others we've stayed at, definitely a top pick for us!

The hot tub was fantastic and the barbecue spot was spotless too. Staff were super friendly-definitely coming back!

We had such a lovely stay at this cabin! The price was really fair and the place itself was lovely. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were super helpful when we had an issue with the hot tub - even though it was late, they sorted it out quickly and it was ready to go by lunch. The only thing that slightly spoiled it was the noise from the busy main road since the cabins at the top of the park. Maybe planting some more trees could help block the sound? Still, wed definitely come back!

We stayed here recently and loved it! The place was huge, spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge! The facilities are spot on and its really convenient for visiting York, Scarborough and Whitby. The only slight downside was the proximity to the road, but the noise wasnt a big deal. Well definitely come back!

Perfect spot to unwind after a long day

Shame about road noise.

The lodge was excellent all the staff and manager were brilliant couldn't do enough for you I would this to everyone top notch??

The staff were really friendly and accommodating on arrival and throughout our stay thank you

Fantastic stay in Limestone lodge and good base to explore, very clean and well looked after, will defiantly be back?

Our 3rd time at Jamie’s cragg sandstone lodge is very spacious the staff really friendly
holiday park is also very well maintained re booked for next year

Lovely chilled break . Hot tub was good . Spacious cabin all you need including welcome pack tea coffee sugar .

Lovely clean lodge and nice staff. Would have been nicer to have a pub or village a little closer, but wasn't a big deal. Really enjoyed our stay and lovely woodland walks and nice walk to Kirkham Abbey straight from Lodge.

Lovely clean cabin private area especially for hot tub. Will defiantly return.

Great time had by all!
