One tiny omission was a lack of wooden chopping board. The glass one had the knives quite blunt. Apart from that, a lovely cosy well laid out lodge.

Wonderful cottage. The place provides everything needed for a home from home. The property is warm and welcoming, and the addition of the hot tub is a bonus.

Beautiful cottage, has everything in you could possibly need. Very close to Ullswater and 2 minutes into Poolley Bridge. The hot tub with the beautiful views was the icing on the cake.

Excellent break, which was booked at the last minute. Friendly, helpful staff were there to meet us and we received an upgrade on the lodge booked which was extremely kind.Lodges were wonderful throughout in a great location. Would definitely return.

An excellent break at a wonderful location. The cottage had everything we needed do our weekend break (the addition of two large tv screens was a bonus as they were not mentioned in the description). The hot tub is a delight. Will definitely revisit in the future.

Lovely lodge and cleaned to high standard. Lovely smell when you walked in so very good impression. Good amount of kitchen utensils and cleaning pack was a nice touch. Interaction we had with staff was great. Quite a steep hill so if youve got mobility issues this site wont suit you. WiFi went off on our 3 rd night as weather had been bad but I had lots of data for my son to use. Parents got the bus from pooley bridge to Windermere and found transport links great. I would definitely stay there again.

A new beautiful lodge and a well kept site, in the peaceful surroundings of Pooley Bridge. Staff were friendly and helpful - the only thing that could have worked a little better was the WiFi. Thanks for a super 5 day break:)

14 of us Just perfect.

Such a pretty cottage with the most amazing views where we were waking up to the sounds of birds and lambs. It is situated away from the main park so perfect for a quiet holiday.Inside, the cottage was very clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped.

Fab! Only problem was decking was in the shade but that meant we were lovely and secluded! Right next to the play park so not far for little one, silent at night! Just brilliant

The lodge was clean and well equipped with things for us and for our four legged friend.
We liked the location of this lodge.

Nice accommodation, central to plenty of places to eat so we just had breakfast in the morning and ate out the rest of the time.
Hot tub facilities and large dining area inside and out if required.
Only issue was no microwave or washing machine.
A bit expensive as we were restricted to entry at 5, although we were able to get in a bit early and had to be out by 9am on last day, due to Covid.
Plenty of Parking, left the cars there on last morning while we went for breakfast at a local cafe.
Overall good place and would recommend place and location

only complaint was the journey out onto the a66 everytime we travelled locally due to pooley Bridge closure. We drove 6 hours to get away from traffic and dual carriage ways.. no ones fault tho and hopefully next time will be all finished and we can enjoy why we continue to visit the lakes every year. It is stunning.. accommodation was perfect.. we all had a wonderful time !

Perfect family holiday. Plenty to do and caravan had everything we needed.

Nice cottage in a lovely setting, just 5 minutes walk from Pooley Bridge. Although on a campsite/holiday park, the cottage is located away from the main area and as such is peaceful and quiet. The cottage has excellent facilities, plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The shower is electric and not very powerful but it functioned okay. The highlight was the hot tub, which had excellent views of the surrounding fells, and was a great place to relax after a day out walking. I would highly recommend to couples or small families.

Spotless just as pictures show. Hot-tub was great and checked/cleaned everyday. Everything you need just bring your food and drink. Would go again no hesitation

Hillcroft Park has just about everything that the holidaymaker could wish for.

Wow what a fabulous cottage! Absolutley loved it, everything you needed and more! Lovely and clean too! We stayed during storm Dennis so we were limited for activity so chilled out in the cottage most of the time..the hot tub was amazing and spotless...sky tv movies came in handy for the kids..and we loved the bathroom! The place was so warm and the log fire was a treat. Pooley bridge is a 5 min walk away where youve got a selection of pubs which we wandered in a couple of times when we braved the weather. The owner was very friendly. We'll definatley be back soon!
