We have just lived in heaven for the last 4 nights and 5 days. A quiet serene secluded site where you are left alone too your own devices with no one bothering you. The lodge has every mod con you can think of and more with a hot tub fed by softened water. Warm and inviting on arrival with your own bath robe and slippers too match as well as your own individual shower and bath as a couple. The proprieters' of Heathside Lodge have nailed it big time so get your spot booked now because like Wimbledon there will be a long waiting list soon.

Great lodge only marked down as a washing machine would be useful (have had in previous lodges elsewhere) and also space in living room which could be used for an extra sofa or chair which wouldve been useful as a family of four with grown teenagers. Some maintenance also required eg one of the shower heads wouldnt move and lodge needs treating for better external appearance but I am being picky here, it really didnt impact our holiday in the slightest.

Lovely lodge only criticism is that it could of done with a dressing table in bedroom and more storage in bathroom to put toiletries.

Everything you need is at the lodge. Comfortable beds, great space, both bedrooms have en-suite.

Lovely property with hot tub. Peaceful surroundings in a very well managed site. Glorious countryside and coast a short drive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for what would be our fifth visit.

We had a lovely break here over half term, situated not far from lots of different places to see and things to do, the lodges were clean and well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus the rain didnt even deter the kids! Would deffo recommend to others and will be back for another stay in the future ????

Warm, comfortable and welcoming.

Everything was superb! Fully functional kitchen including dishwasher fridge/freezer plus extra fridge we used for our wine!!

The Lodge was spotless and the furnishings and equipment were all of a high standard. You could actually live there!

We had a really nice time. Under the current Covid situation the site felt safe and secure. The local area is lovely with lots to do.

We had a great week at these lodges. Within easy reach of loads of beaches and loads of other attractions. Plenty of walking routes too

We found the lodge comfortable and the hot tub was a nice treat. We had lovely countryside views from our accommodation. The park site was well kept and staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was beautiful and the beaches were lovely. There were lots of activities to do in the area and places of interest to visit. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Heathside Lodges and had a lovely holiday.

The addition of single armchair in lodge would be an asset

Great lodge. Inside was spotless and exactly as expected, although the outside could have done with a power-wash to blast away some cobwebs.

Lovely clean lodge very well appointed. Clean fresh bedding and towels. Good kitchen facilities.

Second time at heathside, fantastic break, lovely peaceful surroundings and quality accommodation. Lovely and warm inside, hot tub was used every night, stunning starry skies. Walked from the lodge and stopped off at the star for a drink

I stayed with 2 adults and 3children aged 16 - 2 years. The lodge was beautiful, clean and fully equipped. Hot tub was always clean and heated perfectly. Plenty of towels and pillows even a board game to pass the time. We had a BBQ too. The shop was conveniently on site and fully stocked. All the staff were very helpful and polite. We had a fantastic time and would definitely book to stay here again.

Very good location for walks. There was a large field for children to play on.

Great location with only a 10 minute walk to the local friendly pub (20 on the way back after a few beers) serving amazing food and lovely staff and locals who made you feel very welcome The lodge itself was lovely inside with everything we needed. The exterior was a bit shabby and could do with a lick of paint. The hot tub was disappointing as on arrival we opened it and there appeared to be some sort of red drink spilt round the edge and some hairs in the tub. This had clearly not been cleaned after the last guests. The lid of the tub was also in poor condition with rips and tears and the handle broken. On the whole was a lovely break just a shame about the hot tub.

This is our 2nd visit to heathside lodges and it did not disappoint. The site is immaculate we have never been to a site which is so well maintained. All the staff onsite are friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble, the on-site shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. The lodge itself was spotless it had everything you would need with the added bonus of a hot tub which was clean and private. We will be going again

Great location on a rural site ideally situated 10 mins from Southwold and the coast The site wad very well kept and shrub and tree planting ensured privacy to each plot. Got back on Friday had a wonderful week. Loved staying at this spacious well run park, it was quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to get to most places of interest. The lodge was clean and comfortable, we loved the hot tub and would stay again.
