We had a really lovely stay at the cottage. From the moment we arrived, it was spotless and smelled fresh, which was such a nice start. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped, with plenty of plates, cups and even a coffee maker - a small but appreciated touch! Cooking was a breeze since the cooker was a good size, making meal prep easy. The furniture was all generously scaled up - big TV, big tables, comfy sofas - it felt really roomy. We especially enjoyed the stunning view of the Solway Firth from the windows, absolutely breathtaking. Access to the clubhouse over the road was a bonus; the staff there were friendly and we enjoyed a good pint, even if we were the only ones there at the time. The shop on-site had helpful staff who recommended some great places to visit, including the wild goats and deer, which we loved - dont forget the carrots! We had five fantastic days, though the main downside was the road outside - its pretty busy, with lorries coming and going all day and night, so it was a bit noisy. Also, the mattresses could do with an upgrade; the double bed dipped on both sides and was quite uncomfortable, so I ended up sleeping on the sofa, which was comfy enough. Overall, wed definitely come back!

Cottage was clean and smelt fresh on arrival. Kitchen had more than enough plates, cups ect. Also had a coffee maker which was a nice added touch. We did cook which was great as the cottage had a good size cooker. Everything was on the big size which was great TV, Tables, Sofas. Lots of hot water and heating was perfect.Beautiful view of the Solway Firth from the windows. We did have access to the club on the site over the road, staff were very friendly and served a nice pint. Shame we were the only ones in. The guy in the site shop was helpful in suggesting places to visit and recommended visiting the wild goats and dear which we loved. ( Remember the carrots) We had a fantastic 5 days only down side was .. the main road out the front and all bedrooms look on to it. Lorry's in convey going both directions to and from the ferry port day and all night which were very noisy. You need new and better mattresses, I slept in the double bed and both sides dipped and the middle was high extremely uncomfortable. Did end up sleeping on the sofa which was comfortable.Would we go again? Yes we would

Beautiful cottage in a lovely area, not too far away from nearby towns to explore. Loads of room, clean and the hot tub is lush. Will definitely be back.

Was great place to vist we had a great stay

The cottage was spotless and the beds were super comfy, which we loved. Sadly, the kitchen utensils were quite poor - small pots and pans made cooking a pain. Still, we had a lovely time!

Cottage was very clean ,beds were comfortable. Kitchen equipment utensils were very poor .ie small pots n pans ,this made cooking difficult.We enjoyed our time at the cottage

Had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday

We've stayed here several times and honestly, its always a pleasure. The house is spotless when we arrive, which makes settling in so much easier. The staff are really friendly and always happy to help with any questions. The location feels a bit tucked away, but thats part of the charm - plenty to do within half an hours drive and theres usually something happening in the park too, with access included. Its consistently a lovely place to stay, no matter the season. We really hope to keep coming back for years to come!

Have stayed here a number of times and always love coming back. The house is always perfect when we arrive. Staff always answer any questions the best they can and are very friendly. The location feels out the way which is great, but there is still plenty to do within a 30 minute drive. There's also almost always something on in the park. Which access is included with your stay. Overall it's always a great stay no matter what time of year I've went and hope to continue for years to come.

Really enjoyed the whole experience overall.

We found the property to be really clean and surprisingly roomy, which was great. Most of the essentials were there, making our stay pretty hassle-free. The cutlery was enough for our group, but if the cottages were full, wed definitely need more. Maybe thats something the owners could think about for bigger groups.

Really loved the place, just wish there was a towel rail inside! Great otherwise.

Only thing missing was somewhere to hang wet towels inside! Otherwise was great.

Property was clean and very spacious. Most basic utilities were provided and made my stay straight forward. The amount of cutlery was fine for my stay and party size. However, more would be required if the cottages at full capacity to prevent constant washing but that is maybe something the provider considers.

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage really was top-notch - spotless and well-equipped with all the essentials like a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. The hot tub was a real highlight and we loved unwinding in it. If we could suggest one thing, itd be to reposition the cover so we could enjoy the sunset with a drink. Absolutely fantastic place!

Cottage was excellent and looked recently refurbished. It was very clean and the hot tub too was well kept with staff tending to it every morning.
The only suggestions I have would be hooks on the back of doors as the one at the front door was not big enough.

A few more glasses in the cupboards would be better. The studs on the sofa were either missing or came off easily and they are sharp. Our 4 year old removed one easily.

These are very small items and never worth a complaint.
We all had a great time.

One more comment would be that in the arcade/soft play area has the same tables and chairs that have been there for years. (Our 6th visit) and they are quite dirty and grubby. These could do with renewal.

Other than these small issues it was all great and will be back again.

Excellent grounds well maintained. Staff great. Aside from the cottage,we were put off going to the restaurant as the pictures advertising the food do not look great.

Amazing family loved it

We loved staying at these cottages! Cottage was the ideal location for exploring nearby. The Rob Roy restaurant was the only downside, long wait to be seated even though we had a reservation and rude bar person when I asked. Apart from that. excellent stay and will definitely be back!

Great cottage, great weather, great staff.

The cottage was very clean and well presented, also as a nice touch there were complimentary biscuits and a disposable BBQ. The hot tub was filled up prompted and was always ready for use day or night. I can honestly say I will be back here again in the near future

The cottage was spotless for our arrival, excellent facilities & everything we needed for a luxurious stay
Pods for the coffee machine & the dog treats were a lovely touch
The hot tub was well used & checked daily by staff
We had a problem with a leaky dishwasher, which was fixed the same day
If we had any criticisms, it would be that we found the mattresses way too firm & uncomfortable & would suggest king size beds - the rooms are big enough
My husband & son are both well over 6' & their feet were dangling over the end of a double
The holiday park was great, we made use of the pool & gym
You do have to pay extra but buying credits for these makes the cost reasonable
The sports bar was great, good prices & lovely staff
The food at the Rob n Roll was excellent, we had takeaway which was delivered to the cottage & went to the all you can eat Sunday roast
We can't comment on the entertainment as this isn't our thing
The onsite shop is well stocked & reasonably priced. There is a Sainsburys & Aldis in Newtown Stewart which is only a short drive away
WiFi is free in the cottages & is reasonable - our son is 17 & it was reliable enough for him to play his PS5 most of the time
We were incredibly fortunate with the weather & were able to spend time at the lovely private beach
The climb up & down is pretty steep, we managed but it's certainly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues
We had a fantastic week & would highly recommend a stay here
We'll be booking the farmhouse & bringing more of the family with us next time
