We had a lovely stay at this peaceful spot. Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure everything's just right. Even on our second visit, were already planning to come back again soon!

We stayed at this place recently and found it to be super well-equipped, which was a big plus. It was so warm and cosy inside, perfect for a rainy December day. The bath was fantastic and the shower was a good size too. The location is quiet and even though it's under a flight path, it didnt bother us at all. Ideal if your dogs hate fireworks-so peaceful! Thanks a lot!

We loved the cottage! Its perfectly tucked away, so peaceful but still near shops and local spots. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept us super cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Cant wait to return for longer!

We had a really lovely stay at this good place. The location is so peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. The owners are super friendly and always willing to help without intruding. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling, definitely a highlight! The only thing to note is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels completely private. Robert and Sharon are such lovely hosts, making us feel very welcome. The place is incredibly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that had us sleeping like logs. The gardens perfect for dogs-completely enclosed and nicely furnished. Plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed a few good meals in Thaxted, especially The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend!

They were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, along with Bonnie. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering around charming villages like Thaxted. Wed definitely recommend taking the time to discover the area's rich history and beautiful buildings. Well be back!

Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but its all good now after a vet visit. Happy pups, happy us! Definitely recommend.
