The place has everything you need for a peaceful stay and the location in Essex is perfect for exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages. Honestly, wed recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a lovely setting. Definitely a place to return to!

The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around. Only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be a concern if you're sensitive to noise. Still, wed definitely return!
