Dartmoor View - Reviews

caravan a little tired

Good shower and a reasonably sized main bedroomQuiet park which was good

Excellent Caravan with comfy beds and good WiFi. Had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting outside on the decking.

Nice location very quiet But bed you could feel the springs Bathroom radiator I cleaned myself And it smelt very sweaty inside Do brought air freshener

Beautiful caravan, finishes were immaculate. My daughter found the beds uncomfortable, but we had a wonderful comfortable stay here.

A very nice area for exploring we visited Castle Drogo, paddleboarding at Roadford Lake, Exmoor Zoo and Meldon Reservoir. A nice quiet site and very well maintained. The settee was not very comfortable but the beds were good.

Lovely!! Would visit again

Carnt fault anything was a excellent stay

Our lodge was absolutely stunning very comfortable and spacious we wanted to live in it. The only thing we noticed was with the size of the lodge it may need more time to clean as we noticed a few things that wasnt cleaned. But the main things like bathrooms /bedding linen etc was spot on ??

Clean, roomy and well looked after. Loved having the extra en suite with 2 teenagers! The veranda with outdoor dining, reached via patio doors was lovely.

A lovely holiday all round

Had a lovely relaxing , peaceful, time. Lovely surroundings, great heated pool.

We absolutely loved the lodge. It was in great condition, and contained all of the amenities we needed. On our final day, we had a power cut which affected the entire area nothing to do with the holiday park. I spoke to one of the onsite team about it and he was really friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is that the extractor fan in one of the bathrooms was a little loud. But literally everything else was just perfect. We'll be back!

Very high standard

Very nice and clean site, gardens kept well, lodge and jacuzzi kept clean and well maintained, outdoor pool area also very clean - could do with a few more sun loungers/parasol's potentially during the summer with more people using it but it was fine when we were there.

Mattress uncomfortable. Caravan perfect

Amazing place just a shame no restaurants on siteWon't stop us from returning though

Van clean and with all that is needed for a stress free stay. Has TV and also a DVD player (could do with mentioning this in the what's supplied list). Vans are well spaced out with plenty of open spaces around.

The Caravan was clean and tidy with a good layout. It had a good sized TV for evenings entertainment. This park is nice and quiet, even during busier times of the year.

We had a lovely stay here, it was our first family holiday and the accommodation was stunning! There was a slight issue with our key but the staff were great and sorted it very quickly. We had been upgraded to a bigger caravan which was very kind. We will definitely be coming back the park was very clean and tidy, there was a lovely childrens area with some games too which was a lovely touch, and the big pond with benches inside had a large fence which gave us great peace of mind with young children, thankyou for making our stay so wonderful ??

Lovely place it was our second visit we will be booking again

We had such a lovely weekend here! The scenery was stunning, really peaceful and the hot tub was such a treat. Everyone left feeling totally relaxed. Definitely coming back sometime soon!

We had such a great weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The garden was fantastic for our dogs and they were so happy, especially with the underfloor heating. Luna was wagging her tail nonstop-she even strained it! Definitely coming back, we loved it!

We stayed here with the family for the weekend. Theres pros and cons to the lodge that we stayed in which was called Superior Lodge. Pros- The lodge offered great facilities, 3 bedrooms and they all had their own bathrooms. The hot tub was lovely and we spent alot of time in there. The kitchen/lounge area was well presented.Cons- The Cleanliness of the lodge was very disappointing, lots of dust on the floors/blinds and skirting boards, hairs in the corners of the bathrooms. Dirt on the floor left from previous people dont think the floors have been mopped. Bedding was clean though. Kitchen was well equipped but could have done with a few more utensils. The bedroom mattresses were very uncomfortable and very thin.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming spot, tucked away in a lovely, secluded area. The hosts were genuinely friendly and always ready to help, yet we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling, absolute bliss! The only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt spoil our break at all. Would definitely return!

From the moment we arrived, the caravan was spotless and really well looked after. Its surprisingly spacious and had all the bits and bobs we needed - really good value for a mid-November break. The new wooden decking was a lovely touch, perfect for relaxing outside. The hot tub was already heated and ready to go, which was just what we needed after a long walk on the moor. Sadly, the outdoor pool wasnt open, but honestly, the hot tub more than made up for it. Wed definitely return!

Absolutely loved our stay! Everything was spot on, really relaxing and well thought out. Well be telling everyone about it!

We spent a week here from July 15th to 22nd with our two mini dachshunds and honestly, they loved every minute. They made friends in the village of Thaxted and really settled in. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially since we hit the hottest days of the year - it was so nice to cool off in it. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome, even showing us their horses being taken to the fields each day. Watching the planes land near Stansted was pretty cool too. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was definitely the highlight!

Really enjoyed relaxing in it!

Lovely site, welcoming staff, loved the hot tub!

Absolutely beautiful week of peace, quiet and relaxation.

Accommodation lovely and park surroundings lovely

Everything was amazing. The pool was always warm, there’s lots of scenery with loads of places to go for a walk.

Great place to stay, peaceful, very pleasant. Within spitting distance of National park and scenery.

Absolutely beautiful lodge with hottub very well kept site. Loved the outdoor pool but was disappointed with no games room for the children which it stated on the park map. But overall a lovely holiday.

Lovely, peaceful holiday. Thank you

Some small basic issues but overall great location, accommodation and central location. Hot tub was clean and checked daily.. quiet tidy site. Would book again.

Absolutely brilliant little spot! Plenty of space to walk the dog of an evening, awesome little pool area, and we loved playing table tennis etc. We cannot fault our holiday here one bit! We will definitely be booking again for next year!
