All I can say is the van was just perfect the hot tub amazing as we're the views across the park and a perfect sea view

Lodge was beautiful and spacious.loved the hot tub which was checked twice a day.We did have a little trouble with the signal on the tv.We did feel that the settee was very low but then maybe its because were grandparents.We definitely would recommend this lodge.

Booked last minute & wanted a pet friendly one cos son was taking dog. Caravan nice, very clean on arrival, nice plot by stream with plenty of grass for grandson to play on.

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and had such a lovely time. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfy. The hosts were really friendly and even though its on a working farm, it felt so peaceful and relaxing!

Really enjoyed the walk, the fields were beautiful and the dogs loved exploring everywhere! Great day out.

We had such a lovely stay at this good place! The location is truly peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing break. The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, without intruding on our privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day. One thing to keep in mind-it's right under Stansted's flight path, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be an issue if you're noise-sensitive. All in all, wed definitely return!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy little cottage! Its perfectly tucked away for peace but still close enough to enjoy local shops and cafes. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept everything super warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel right at home. Cant wait to return for a longer stay soon!

We stayed in the caravan recently and honestly, it was quite nice for a basic place. Everything was spotless and the sheets were all wrapped up in plastic, which was a nice touch. There were little extras like washing up liquid too. We werent told about the heaters, but it turned out they had heaters in every room, including the bathroom. A pleasant surprise!

The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely enclosed and with nice furniture. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and had some great meals in Thaxted, especially at The Star and The Maypole. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two small dachshunds and it was such a lovely experience! The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially since the weather was scorching. It was great to see the hosts being so welcoming; you could tell they genuinely cared. Watching the planes land near Stansted was quite entertaining too, even if its a bit noisy at times. The dogs loved making new friends in the village of Thaxted and wed definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway. Well be back!
