We just got back from an excellent week at Goddards Mead. The place is super well stocked with everything youd want. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Even though its on a working farm, its surprisingly peaceful and relaxing. Loved it!

We had a lovely stay at this good place. The location is super peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding. The owners were genuinely friendly and always willing to help if needed, but they also respected our privacy completely. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day! One thing to note is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is noticeable. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt spoil our trip at all. Definitely recommend!

The bath was fantastic and the shower was a nice size too. The propertys on a flight path, but honestly, we barely noticed the planes. Perfect spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, surrounded by nature. Thanks a lot!

The warmth we received from them and Bonnie made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering through charming villages like Thaxted. The place has everything you need for a chilled, comfy stay. Definitely recommend taking the time to explore the nearby towns too!
