We had a lovely time! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which we appreciated a lot. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and perfect for Archies needs-secure and cosy. The location was fantastic for walks and we loved exploring Thaxted and the nearby villages. Honestly, it was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. Well definitely be coming back!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs really enjoyed the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for them to play in. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Both pups and us had a lovely time!

We stayed at this lovely cottage on a working farm and honestly, it was perfect for what we needed-really private and peaceful. Robert and Sharon are such warm, friendly hosts, making us feel right at home. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy, comfy bed. The gardens super secluded, dog-proof and nicely furnished. Plus, there are loads of walks nearby. Thaxteds got some decent restaurants too, like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

White Oak really impressed us! The lodge felt fresh and cosy, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only tiny issues were the lack of drawers in the twin bedrooms, making storage a bit tight and a larger frying pan wouldve been handy in the kitchen. But honestly, these are minor points. Wed happily return anytime - its a lovely place and well worth a visit. Cant wait to go back!

Our week at the cottage was lovely! We brought along our two mini daschunds and they really loved the place, making friends with other dogs in the village of Thaxted. The highlight was definitely the hot tub - perfect for the scorching weather, especially since it was cooled for a more refreshing dip. The hosts were genuinely friendly and welcoming, it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields daily. Being close to Stansteds flight path was quite fun too; watching the planes land added a bit of entertainment to our stay. Would happily recommend!

We stayed at this lovely lodge and found it super clean and cosy. The beds were really comfy and there were plenty of towels. Only downside was two blinds wouldnt open, making the kitchen a bit dark. Still, wed come back!
