We had such a relaxing stay here! The place is peaceful and well-stocked, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was a real treat and everyone was so friendly. If you're after some quiet time, this is ideal!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The seating was a bit low and tricky to get up from, especially for us, but thats probably our fault. A better mattress and some hooks in the bathroom would be great, but no complaints really. Lovely break!

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and was super cosy. Plus, the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were genuinely lovely and made us feel so welcome.

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. The place is super well-kept and fully equipped, making it feel homey right away. There are loads of nice dog walks just outside the door, which was perfect for our pooches. The host was lovely, friendly and quick to respond. We especially enjoyed meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig! Definitely coming back, great value for money. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The place is super charming, with a beautiful half-timbered look and a really good shower. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it feel like a home away from home. Parking right outside was a big plus and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Great for walks too and easy to get to Thaxted and its lovely windmill. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time staying here! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which we appreciated a lot. The place was spotless, cosy and perfect for Archie, our dog. The location was spot on, with lots of scenic walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are definitely worth exploring. Honestly, it was just what we needed for a proper break. Cheers!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which we appreciated. The garden is big, fenced and perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen and we even enjoyed a barbecue one evening. The hot tub was fantastic! Were already planning to come back and have told friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!

Clean spacious and all that we needed

The caravan feels quite old-fashioned and could use some proper sprucing up. The outside area is messy and those planters definitely need some attention. Not the best experience.

We loved the cottage! Perfectly tucked away for peace but still near shops and local spots. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept everything nice and warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to return for a longer stay!

Waiting to try it out

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, they loved every minute! The village of Thaxted is charming and friendly, perfect for dog walks and exploring. The cottage itself is really lovely - the hot tub was definitely a highlight, especially with the weather being so hot; it cooled the water just enough to be super refreshing. The hosts were warm and welcoming and it was lovely to see their dogs out and about too. Being close to Stansteds flight path didnt bother us at all; watching the planes was quite interesting. Wed definitely come back!

Really enjoyed the walk, the fields were perfect for us and the dogs loved it too!

Great place clean an peacefull

A nice site, excellent 2 bed mobile home with restaurant, swimming pool and lake on site. Easy to find off the motorway and not far from York, Leeds and other towns. Would definitely return.

Beautiful small site, perfect for a quiet break. Lovely area to visit, Staff really friendly and helpful. Caravan is one of the best we have stayed in. Lovely layout.

Spent a lovely few days away here at this park.It was very quiet but that was probably because of the time of the year.The club and restaurant was only open at the weekend and we were only there Monday to Friday so we missed out on this.I would certainly go back again.

Lovely stay in a clean and comfortable place. Didn't want to come home at the end of the week.
