Great place! Everything was spotless and the hot tub really made our weekend special. Would come back!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around in freely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and we even fired up the BBQ one evening. The hot tub was just brilliant! Wed definitely come back and already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely break!

Our stay at Goddard Mead was fantastic. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were genuinely lovely, making us feel very welcome throughout our visit!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is really cosy - the hot tub was a real treat, especially during the hot weather when it was cooled down for a refreshing dip. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields every day. Being near Stansted's flight path was actually quite fun - watching the planes land was pretty cool. Wed definitely come back!

The cottage itself is adorable with its traditional half-timbered style and the shower was fantastic-powerful and hot! The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it hard to leave. Plus, parking right next to the cottage was a huge bonus. It's perfect for walks through the fields to Thaxted and its easy to get around to explore the area. Wed definitely come back!

The cabin was really spacious with a lovely layout and the bed was super comfy. The rooms felt cosy, which we loved. Only downside was the TV - it had limited channels - and the WiFi was pretty weak, so we had to rely on our data. Guess we weren't there for the telly anyway!
