Honestly, we had a great time! The place was really well thought out and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely planning to come back soon, it was just perfect!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge and the site. It's perfect if you're after a peaceful break, with just a couple of lodges and tents around, so its really quiet. The location is great for exploring Oxford and the Cotswolds, which was handy. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed. The owner kept in touch before and during our visit, which was really reassuring. Wed definitely come back!

We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob and Sharon put a lot of effort into beautifully restoring this historic place and they were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived, along with Bonnie. The location is perfect-lots to explore around Thaxted and nearby villages, full of interesting history and charming buildings. Everything you need for a relaxing break is right here, honestly. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We absolutely loved this cosy little cottage! Perfectly tucked away for peace and quiet but still near local shops and eateries. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating kept us super warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to return!

The lodge was really lovely and situated in such a stunning spot. The hot tub view is honestly breathtaking! We got lucky with the weather, but even during winter, itd be a fantastic getaway. Communication was smooth throughout. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful escape in the countryside. Wed go back for sure!

We had a fantastic time! The location is perfect for exploring Stratford and Broadway and Croome is nearby too. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Would love to come back soon!

We stayed in this lovely little pod and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place was spotless, bright and cosy enough for two. The hot tub was a highlight-so private and set under that charming barn-style cover. The bed was comfy and the shower was great with plenty of fluffy towels. We brought microwave meals since theres no oven, but coming back to such a warm, clean space each day was brilliant!

We had a wonderful time at this lodge during our recent UK staycation. The hot tub was a real treat and perfect for unwinding. The lodge itself was spotless and well-equipped, making our stay very comfortable. Pershore Village nearby had some lovely eateries, though it wouldve been better if we could walk there without crossing busy roads. Still, a great spot overall!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners were some of the nicest people we've come across. They were so helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place itself is really charming-think traditional half-timbered style, super clean and warm enough even on a chilly day. The shower was powerful and the cosy living area made relaxing a breeze. Plus, parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus. Perfect base for exploring Thaxted and the surrounding countryside!

We really appreciated the hands-off approach, especially these days, but when we did interact, it was always friendly. Normally, thered be more activities around, but we found plenty to do outside the pod anyway. The pod itself was spotless and really cosy. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - super luxurious! A bit of guidance on how to use it wouldve been handy, though. No worries about the manual, as the internet was reliable and easy to access on site. Overall, a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us warm during that chilly December weather. The bath was just perfect after a long day and the shower was lovely too. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all - honestly, we barely noticed. Great spot for dogs, especially ones that dislike fireworks, since its so remote. Thanks a bunch!

Fantastic accommodation in beautiful surroundings. The only thing missing was an oven. We will definitely be back.

Booked for my wife's 35th as a few days to relax with the option of going out if we wanted.
The pod was fantastic! Spotless, great shower, comfy bed and the hot tub was perfect. We didn't go out as we didn't want to leave.
Staff were very friendly amd extremely accommodating.
Can not wait to go again.

We had 4 nights holiday break staying in the Leopard safari tent. Everything is perfect, clean, cozy, and very large space for 2 adults and 2kids.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our break at bowbrook lodges. Our only gripe was the bed isn’t the comfiest gave us a few issues, but saying that it won’t stop me from booking again.

Would defo recommend and we will most definitely be back that’s for sure!
