We had a really lovely stay at this good place! The location is peaceful and feels quite private, which we loved. The owners are genuinely friendly and gave us helpful tips without being intrusive. The hot tub was a real treat after cycling all day - such a relaxing touch! One thing to bear in mind is that its right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of noise from planes. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth mentioning. Overall, a great spot!

Really enjoyed our quick break away!

We spent a week at this charming place from July 15th to 22nd with our two mini dachshunds, who absolutely loved it and made friends in the village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is really lovely, especially the hot tub - such a nice touch, especially during the hot weather, as the cooled water was super refreshing. The hosts were genuinely welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. We enjoyed watching the planes land since it's close to Stansted on the flight path. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

Comfortable bungalows with plenty of space, perfect for relaxing holidays.

The location is perfect, just a short stroll to shops and some of the best beaches around.

Great value for a weeks stay, though the furniture could do with an upgrade. We enjoyed our break, but some of the furnishings felt a bit tired and in need of refreshing. The location was decent and it was a fair price for what we got. Honestly, a bit of modernising would make a big difference. Still, it was a pleasant stay overall, just a little room for improvement!

Anglesey truly is a beautiful spot, even with the weather being a bit rubbish. We explored loads of places and found some cracking walks, really enjoyed it!

We had a lovely stay! The scenery is stunning, perfect for nature fans with plenty of rock pools to discover. The bungalows are spotless, well kitted out and maintained to a high standard. Definitely worth it!

We really enjoy staying here, the spot is lovely and just a short walk to the beach, which is great for our dog. Its our second visit and were already planning to return next year. Definitely recommend it, loads nearby like shops and retail parks. Plenty to keep us busy!

Overall, we had a decent stay for the price. The place isnt fancy and could use some sprucing up, especially the bathroom which needs a proper clean and a bit of a facelift. Some clear instructions on how to operate the heating would have been helpful, but it served our purpose.
