Overall, we had a decent stay. The lodge was really spacious and kept tidy, which was great for our little getaway. The staff at the bar were lovely, making us feel welcome. The food was top-notch too! Just a shame about some repairs needed and the fishing not being as expected. Still, we enjoyed it!

The place is pretty decent overall, but it could use some fixing up. The bathroom sinks a nightmare to drain and the wardrobes broken. Reported everything to reception, though. Not bad, just needs a bit of TLC.

We had such a lovely time staying here! The location is perfect for a peaceful escape with friends and the layout really gives you plenty of privacy. The lodge itself was super spacious and spotlessly clean, with everything you could need-full oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, even a bath and shower. The hot tub was an absolute highlight, already at the right temperature when we arrived and they checked the chemical levels daily, which was reassuring. We loved relaxing outside on the seating area too. The only minor hiccup was the service in the club restaurant; the staff seemed a bit unsure about the menu and drinks, but the food was delicious. Well definitely be back!

We recently stayed at this lovely cabin and honestly, its way bigger than it looks from the outside. The view over Hole 1 on the golf course is pretty nice, though we couldnt really enjoy it much since it was off-season and no one was playing during our visit. The location is handy, but wed recommend heading to Sainsburys if you need to do a shop - the guidebooks advice is spot on. We tried going to a Tesco nearby, but it turned into a bit of an adventure through narrow country lanes and hills, which took ages. One thing that caught us out was the lack of a tea towel - not something we usually think about bringing, as most places weve stayed in this company had one supplied. Also, only one baking tray in the oven meant we had to get a bit creative and the ovens symbols have rubbed off, so it was a bit of guesswork figuring out the settings. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - its the biggest weve ever used! It wasnt heated fully until late on our first night because it had been drained, probably due to glass shards left in it from previous guests, which was odd considering they provide plastic wine and pint glasses for it. Overall, its a nice little spot and good value for money. Wed happily return for the same price - definitely a good find!

The lodge was pretty spacious and offered lovely views, which was a real plus. The kitchen lacked some utensils weve had elsewhere and the double bed was just two singles pushed together-headboards overlapping was a bit awkward.

We stayed in a really spacious lodge that was spotless. The furnishings felt high-quality and it had everything we needed, from a washing machine to a large fridge freezer. The rooms were comfy, with separate toilet and shower. Perfect for families or couples and the views were lovely!

We managed to snatch a last-minute deal and headed straight to Exeter with a couple of friends. From the moment we arrived, the guy at reception was friendly and gave us a warm welcome, showing us to our lodge. The place was in pretty good nick-sure, the exterior could do with a fresh coat of paint, but overall, it was spot on. The hot tub became our main hangout; we spent hours soaking and just chilling outside until about 3am, stargazing and loving every second. We also squeezed in some time on the golf range, which was pretty decent, but honestly, most of our stay was just about unwinding in the hot tub. The only real hiccup was the shower situation-the boiler was tiny, so we could only manage quick 2-minute showers before the water cooled down or everyone else had to wait ages for a warm rinse. Still, well definitely be coming back!

We found the lodge pretty roomy and well-equipped for self-catering, though the fridge-freezer was a bit of a mess and we couldnt figure out the hob. Luckily, the club house restaurant was nearby, so eating out was no trouble at all!

We had a pretty good stay overall. The lodges are quite spacious and well kitted out, which was great. The only thing that could be improved are the sofas-they're a bit low and looking a bit tired, so a refresh wouldnt go amiss. We did have a couple of issues upon arrival, like a non-working dishwasher and missing light fittings, but they were sorted out the same day. Also, we were told the washing machine was broken and would be replaced during our stay, which it was. It didnt bother us much since we only needed it at the end. Not bad at all!
