I want to give a big shout out to paradise lakes in york. Its a beautiful gem of a holiday park. The lodges are fully equipped, warm and cozy.The site is immaculate with lots of birds and a resident hen who will happily follow you around. It's a family run business and they are welcoming and friendly. ??????

The Pods were clean and had everything you could need during your stay. It was warm and cosy and I loved the fact I had my own bathroom in the Pod. It was the perfect size for me and my one year old daughter.

So pleased we stayed here. So peaceful, beautiful place to stay. Would definitely stay again. Ideal if you are into fishing, lake is just a few steps away from your hut door. Lots of wildlife, birds, ducks. Hut very clean has everything we needed for a few days stay. Thank you.

Brilliant value for money for a four night stay. The bed was comfier than mind at home which is a massive plus. Very clean and very well looked after lodge with all the facilities you need other than dishwasher which isnt essential for just two people. The furniture was good although I feel like the leather sofa could do with an upgrade despite it still being really comfortable.

We had the most amazing Christmas break away! The accommodation is stunning, huge and really well kept. Everything was spotless. Beds are SO comfy, its warm, welcoming and cosy. Value for money was incredible, staff were all so polite and always happy to help. We love this place so much we booked our next trip while we were still there ???? Fantastic peaceful location and just what we needed for a quiet fishing break with my son.

A perfect place if you just want to relax and chill. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Can't wait to come back.

Great holiday, easy to get to a variety of places such as York & Bridlington. A peaceful setting and having the hot tub was amazing.
Staff are really friendly and helpful.

My wife & I had a lovely time relaxing and wish we could have stayed on. Nature was superb seem red deer & squirrels from our pod.

We loved the pods! They were really well equipped with everything you would need. The site itself is located in a really quiet location, perfect little get away but close enough to York. Everyone we met was helpful and cheerful! The price was also very cheap for August-We will definitely be returning!

Myself and my partner absolutely loved our stay! The pods were really cute and lovely, very warm in the day though after a hot day - maybe air con could be a consideration? The view of the lake every morning was a nice touch. There could be maybe more activities or a bar on site for the guests to chill out. Location is good off the main track down a country road, however, there isn't really anything to do within a 30 minute drive - especially with the bridge closed! Pocklington is a short drive away which is a nice village to visit to go to the local shop and chippy etc. York town centre is around 40 minutes and that is lovely! Staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful! I was on crutches while I was there and there were so helpful with us and helped us with our bags etc! Always happy to chat and share knowledge of the area and what to do etc - couldn't fault them. Value for money was excellent - Worked out about £72 for both of us for 4 nights which you can't really complain about! We are definitely going to be visiting again!!

Was just what we needed after the lockdown!!
Also losing my stepfather was lovely to bring my mum along for some well deserved family time.

Great place, just what we wanted for a fishing holiday but don't need to fish for it to be a relaxing place to stay. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great little holiday in the paradise pod. Bed was comfortable, all the appliances you really need were supplied, lake was great! Would definitely recommend! The only issue we had were that lots of flies kept coming into the pod! It would be handy if they had a fly screen or a fly zapper in the pod to make it even better.

Excellent was great just to relax and do nothing
