Eskdale is a nice place to visit, a bit off the beaten track from the bigger towns. Whitehaven and Workington a fair drive away, where you will find large supermarkets, banks etc.

Overall had a lovely 5 days here, we ended up having a brand new caravan with no one having stayed in it yet so was lovely, clean and modern, were very impressed with it. The bed was so comfy! Nice hot shower too and fire which was a treat in the evenings and central heating if we wanted it, overall don't think I'll stay in a nicer caravan!

Very good. This is a proper caravan park. Neat and tidy. Dog friendly. No shop but only 2 miles from a village. Will book again.

Well situated for many lovely drives. The caravan itself was fine but when the areas of grass surrounding us was mowed, because of the wet weather, it stuck to your shoes and trapsed into the van.

Excellent holiday well equipped van. Quite site with wildlife to be seen. Great base for this Area. There is no entertainment or kids play area. So make sure you bring something to entertain them. There is a great playground at Seascale. There are local shops in the surrounding villages. There is a laundrette on site. So if you are looking for a holiday away from alot of people, I recommend this site to yo

Seven Acres is a peaceful place for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
The staff are great and the holiday home is clean and comfortable with double glazing and central heating.
Nearby is fantastic scenery-- Wast Water, Ennerdale, Lowes Water, Crummock Water,
and lovely Buttermere-ideal for if you like walking, hill climbing, photography etc.
Just 3 miles down the road is a filling station with a large size supermarket that carries just about everything you would need, or 4 miles in the other direction is Gosfort , a small village with a convenience store and a pub.
There is a mobile phone signal on the park.
Also, at Ravenglass, just 6 miles away is the ravenglass and Eskdale railway which journeys up to Boot in the mountains-well worth a ride on that.
I have been here several times and have just booked again for another 2 weeks to do more photography.
If you want a site that has family entertainment, pubs, play parks etc on it then please note this is not for you. However, there is plenty of places for kids to adventure and enjoy within easy reach.

The furnishings are getting a little tired but for the money it was a great. The location is excellent we were able to walk in Eskdale or Wasdale after a very short run. The site warden was very helpful when we forgot to take towels, gave us some to use. Will definately going again next year
