Absolutely wonderful. We spent Christmas week at Wooda Lakes and it was so peaceful and totally relaxing. The lakes are lovely to walk around and our dog loved running and sniffing all about.
A super box of biscuits awaited our arrival and very kindly, some fresh milk and coffee too.
We loved the fact that it's not commercialised and that there aren't too many pine lodges on the site.
We would most definitely return, we just don't want too many people finding out about them!

Lovely peaceful holiday. Really nice lodge and the owners were really helpful. Would definitely go again.
Great lodges in tranquil setting.
Lovely setting , very relaxing peace and quiet. Lodge was spotless and very well equipped, nice and cosy even though it was freezing outside. Hot tub was amazing especially in the cold weather. The boys had great fun fishing too.
Stayed for 1week and can’t wait to go back in June. This is a place to chill and relax plus if you fish it’s a bounus as the fishing is excellent. Cabins are home from home all you need. No phone signal no Wi-fi just pure peace and quiet.
Amazing place. Peaceful and lovely surroundings. Lodge was lovely and clean, spacious, everything you need. Staff were great really helpful and welcoming.
My week at Wooda Lakes was very relaxing and quiet and the fishing was good to I recommend Wooda lake
Lodge was amazing, very warm and cosy inside and the hot tub was lovely..even in the snow! The lakes were great too, we caught lots of different fish. Stuart the owner was also very helpful and friendly
What an absolute gem of a place. The lodge was spacious and well equipped. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, being a January break meant it was rather wet, but that didn't stop the 8year old or the men enjoying the hot tub. The owners were most friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would love to come back in the warmer weather to take full advantage of the hot tub and fishing.
Went for a short break and as usual it is quiet and good accommodation. The fishing was my main reason for going and the resident lake is very good fun.
Relaxing and comfortable. Pleasant surroundings and home from home accomodation with lovely touches like a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival and a coffee selection for the tassimo, oh and biscuits too.
Excellent accommodation, very clean and well equipped the only negative would be too swap the washing machine for a dishwasher!!!
