Caravan was super clean. Well appointed and spacious. Could have done with some hooks in bathroom to hang clothes when showering, and to leave towels. Our van was the last in the row and we had to park across the little park road opposite, instead of parking next to the van.

Too many caravans close together, light in toilet and outside light didnt work, heating didnt work, but fixed within half hour. Other then that very quite place, beautifull views. Would recomend this for others, but could be cheaper as some facilities are closed.

We really enjoyed this holiday. One adult and two teenagers. Amid all the Covid restrictions I wasnt sure if it was worth going away, but it was. We had a lovely time. There wasnt much in the way of entertainment etc but you have to make the most of it. The staff at this site are very welcoming and helpful.
Only negatives were that the on-site shop and restaurant kept running out of things. And the TV in our caravan seemed to need a better aerial as it was constantly breaking up. Other than that everything was really good.

Site needs some upgrade investment and regular auditing of accommodation hygiene and damage, to maintain future four star ratings.

All site accommodations should have access to prepaid wi-fi in this modern day . The staff are very pleasant and have a hard job , with some visitors such as dropping litter , hygiene in accommodation's , not respecting other visitor's on holiday , with early morning or late evening noise .

Caravan adequate though there was a lack of storage space. On the plus side there was a vacuum cleaner in the caravan which is always handy if you have children and pets in your party. For those arriving late it would be good if the Nisa store opened later so that people can buy the basics.

Great weekend away. Caravan was an older model & was a bit past its best, however it was spotlessly clean & everything worked as it should have. i booked the cheapest option as I was just looking for a weekend break at short notice. So for the price I paid the caravan was as expected & I would book this option again.

Loved every minute. Great accommodation, fantastic views and great site facilities.
Microwave wasn't working when arrived but changed within a couple of hours.
Would have liked to see the entertainment complex more dog friendly as there were many pets on site. Most pubs are now, come on guys help us dog owners out.
All in all a great experience certainly intend to return.

We had a great week long family holiday
Louise, Newcastle
Date of stay: 30th August 2019
The lodge was lovely inside and out with plenty space for 6 adults and two children. Having a bath and a shower was an added bonus and the kitchen was well equipped. Although I do have to say that the smoke alarm was rather sensitive when cooking which resulted in us having to open all doors and windows on a number of occasions - this wouldnt be ideal in bad weather. The site is very hilly and I found that the steps to the main parts of the site were rather steep and not particularly safe to use for the kids or the grandparents. This was the only real issue we had with the site.

The caravans lacked a waste bin at first, but we were quickly given one when requested. Our can opener didn't work. The heating worked very well and the beds were very comfortable.
