We loved the caravan. Great value, very very clean, nice to have tea and coffee waiting for us.

Rebecca, Essex
Date of stay: 31st August 2018
I think if there had been a slide of some sort it would have kept the kids entertained for a little longer, this would have meant getting a bit more value for your money. However, the pools are well kept and clean.
Cloudysky
Date of stay: 25th August 2018
The only real gripe was the size of the mugs - no cups. It was like drinking half a cup of coffee every time. The beds are metal framed and can be a bit creaky but is that is all I can find to moan about it cannot be bad! will take a mug with me if I go again ;-)
Adam, Rotherham
Date of stay: 20th August 2018
Missing a few light bulbs here and there, the shower controls were hanging off the wall. It was nice and clean and served us well for the week.

Excellent accommodation.
Spacious, clean and equipped well.
2 toilets and outside seating area.
Pamela, Hertfordshire
Date of stay: 11th August 2018
Plenty of seating for everyone and sufficient storage space in the bedrooms. The sofas were a bit worn, as was the carpet in one spot but that is to be expected when several people use the property.

Nicola, Bolton
Date of stay: 21st July 2018
The Wavesurfer is a lovely chalet, it has all the things in the kitchen you need, 2 sofas, table and chairs and a large tv with freeview. The beds were comfortable and there was a dressing table area in both rooms and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom had a bath and a very powerful shower. Outside there was a patio table, paraol and chairs with a verander so you had your own garden. Which was much appreciated as the weather was lovely.

We have been to various parks in Devon and Cornwall and normally stay in a caravan, but this by far was the best accommodation. it had plenty of room and was spotlessly clean.
Sharon, Telford

Date of stay: 27th October 2017
The ratings on Sunrise are based on the fact that the ignition didn't fully work and the toilet was very loud after every flush, but apart from that it was a beautiful and comfy caravan.
Steve, Chippenham
Date of stay: 21st October 2017
The bed broke on the first night but was repaired immediately and we noticed that there was water on top of the fridge when we moved the kettle and toaster because there was not enough sockets

Good and spacious caravan which we were very impressed with.
Journey across muddy grass each time to get to it from car park or swimming pools we were not impressed with.
Nowhere else have we had to collect linen etc and make our own beds.
Quality of linen was excellent so a minor thing.

Date of stay: 5th August 2017
This was our 3rd holiday here and all 3 holidays have been great especially the evening entertainment but we were very disappointed with the fact rubbish and other items were left by the bed and in wardrobes from the previous people along with food remnants left in the dishes . We were told cleaners would be sent to us but after a few hours waiting we decided to clean it properly ourselves so we could unpack and settle in for our holiday.

Anona, Marazion
Date of stay: 27th May 2017
Lovely caravan and quiet as it was on the edge; beautifully clean with good cooker/microwave/fridge-freezer. It was super weather so the grass was dry, but a few more paving slabs would be useful to get to the allotted parking spot if it had been wet. It was a great holiday - would recommend - try to travel early to miss traffic queues near the park as they might be bad at peak times. We had intended to use the pool and go to the entertainment but after being out all day were happy to sit out with a quiet beer.
It is a big site but we were never disturbed by neighbours.
All staff from the management to the garden team were friendly and helpful.
A great surprise were the welcome gifts - very thoughtful and a nice touch, thank you.
Hannah, Bolton

Clean but basic Coral Reef caravan. Sofas and some of single bed mattresses not very comfortable - lacking/worn padding. Needs a table lamp in lounge (alternative to harsh overhead lighting) and bedside reading lights/lamps in main bedroom.

The layout of the caravan was one of the best we've stayed in (and we've been to quite a few five-star parks). Very spacious, lots of storage etc. The cleanliness was 'ok' but it looked like a bit of a rush job so I went round with some antibacterial spray myself before we unpacked. Beds - extremely comfortable. Wifi - fantastic, reliable and FREE! A real added plus point.

Date of stay: 8th April 2016
We had a short break in April during the School Easter break so it was busy. The only downside of the break was the clubhouse, unless you were there when the doors opened then it was after 9-15pm before you could get a seat, which was after the Bingo players left the club, and then there would be a 20min+ wait to get a drink as all the players left were topping up after their games. We only stopped a couple of nights so can't really judge the Entertainment, although it was LOUD! The food was good, again the timing had to be spot on or a queue was massive. I would definately stay in the Park again but I doubt very much if I would use the Club facilities.
Vicky, Birmingham

The accommodation was really good, there was a slight problem with bedding, had to make up the bed in front room for brother as his legs/ feet were hanging off the bed, same with the other half but he just had to put up with it. And a few dead flies about which we just cleaned up and put outside but that shouldn't be us doing it

I really enjoyed my holiday at Welcome Family. I went there with the family and my partner in June and had an amazing time. We had so much fun that me and my partner return in September for our anniversary which was perfect. The train station was just around the corner from where we were staying which worked out brilliantly when we wanted to travel to different places with out wasting money on petrol. I would highly recommend staying here the staff are lovely and always happy to help :)
Carole, Wolverhampton
Date of stay: 15th September 2014

Date of stay: 13th September 2014
We had a wonderful week when we stayed at Dawlish, the weather was sunny every day, the caravan was spotless, there was a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival, it was most welcome trust me. We cannot recommend this park and the staff highly enough, come and see for yourself, you'll have a wonderful time too.
The only thing I would say against the caravan, is, it was starting to show signs of being 'tired', but as we had a dog with us we didn't mind, the cleanliness and comfort were second to none, which is what matters after all isn't it :)
Katrina, Essex
Date of stay: 1st September 2014

Date of stay: 16th August 2014
We had a great holiday. The only downside was that the caravan was quite near the entertainment, so it was very noisy.
Susan, Gloucestershire
Date of stay: 16th August 2014
A lovely holiday site. Very friendly staff. Good entertainment if you want it. Free activities such as mini golf and ball court, the kids loved it.
You cannot park between the caravans as we have always done previously, so you do have to carry everything to and from the car- and there aren't always enough spaces around your particular caravan, but this didn't spoil anything for us.
The pool doesn't have any slides etc to keep the kids occupied but they do let you take in inflatable balls and tyres, so this kept them amused.
Overall, a good caravan site, we had a lovely week, despite the weather!
Josie, Kirkby-in-ashfield Nottingham

The only think I can say is you need a big ashtray around by the sandsurfer as it's a a lovley area to sat and chat but if people are smoking there is nowhere to put your fag ends

Date of stay: 25th April 2014
A very good holiday park which matches and often exceeds the quality and features of the large over priced chains at a fraction of the price they charge. It was our second visit and will probably be back again. Location is perfect lots to do and see in the area. Only down side is the site could do with a dedicated restaurant/ bar to compliment the club.
Andrew

Could not fault anything about the park except the parking. There did not seem to be enough parking spaces and felt that if parking was allowed beside each caravan it would have helped. We advised at the time of booking that we would be bringing two car. We sometimes had trouble finding a space.
Alison, Totton
Date of stay: 11th April 2014
