Great accommodation but could use a new sofa as not overly comfortable otherwise accommodation was great!
Alan, Taunton
Date of stay: 19th January 2018
the only problem we had was the heating and getting it adjusted right - should have gone to reception straight away but it suddenly worked (they also closed early as winter). Later they seemed to think maybe someone had adjusted the boiler settings.
Information book had no info on heating.

Date of stay: 15th July 2016
Loved the lodge I stayed in although I think the second bedroom would be a bit of a squeeze for 2 adults or teenagers. Nice modern fittings and decor. Loved having a bath with a shower - it's very steep locally and it was great to have a soak in the bath after a busy day out!
Janet, London
Date of stay: 17th June 2016

Great spacious lodge. Clean and comfortable. Great place to stay.
Glyn, Haverhill Suffolk
Date of stay: 10th July 2015
We were very pleased with the holiday. The only complaint was the sauna was out of action all week. A member of staff suggested that people pour too much water on the elements at one time. I suggested that the sauna was replaces by a steam room.

The Lodge was fine although it could have done with a little bit more of a clean. A number of cobwebs and dead spiders were lurking in some corners!

Date of stay: 29th December 2014
The accommodation was super, plenty of room for all 5 of us.
Kirsty, Crawley
Date of stay: 17th October 2014
Loved the lodge only 2 things to mention is we couldn't find the instructions for the heating (it ended up coming on full blast in the middle of the night) & the twin room had no room for the cot so our baby had to sleep with us which meant creeping around & waking him up when we rolled over in bed! But these were minor issues me & hubby slept in the twin instead!
Steven, Wellesbourne, Warwick.
Date of stay: 27th September 2014
Another fantastic holiday.
Date of stay: 22nd September 2014

Pip, Suffolk
Date of stay: 9th August 2014
The cabin was large and comfortable. However there were a few things missing from the kitchen but staff offered to put right immediately. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless but other rooms could have done with a dust and there were lots of cobwebs!
Dave, Lincoln
Date of stay: 9th August 2014
Lodges were excellent with good quality furniture and equipment. Clean and comfortable but possibly a little expensive for this type of accommodation.

James, Hull
Date of stay: 13th June 2014
there was ample room for four adults . although second bedroom could have done with a couple of shelves above the beds so that you could put your spectacles on etc at night whilst in bed. the lodge is well and beyond equipped. could not fault it.
Steven, Northants
Date of stay: 31st May 2014
Decking was looked a bit tired and broken in places
Ken, Troon
Date of stay: 16th May 2014
Comfortable and roomy lodge with good decking area to sit out.Chairs on deck could have done with a wash - they obviously hadn't been used for a while and were a bit grubby.

Home from home
Enjoyed a lovely week. Lodges were very comfortable and the pool was well used by the family. Beautiful surroundings and easy access to all of North Devon’s delights. Would definitely be going back another time.
We stayed in a willow lodge at easter and it was a lovely stay. The lodge was spotless and very cosy. The swimming pool was very clean and we loved the sauna and jacuzzi. Food was also very nice with homemade meals to enjoy. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor play areas too and we made the most of the dvds they had to offer in return for a charity donation in box which i thought was a nice touch. The views are beautiful and you will be very relaxed here . Also they have a nice little bar and a small shop for essentials . Im looking forward to staying here again :)
Very comfortable budget lodges in a beautiful, quiet setting with stunning views. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.
Came for a quick Easter break mon-fri. The lodge exceeded our expectations. It was very clean & had everything we needed. Asked at reception for an adapter plug, no probs. Pool nice and clean, much needed due to typical British weather. Great location too, Ilfracombe great to visit.
Last minute winter break and fantastic value for money. Only one other lodge in use. They even had to switch on the swimming pool lights for us as the only ones each day. All as advertised with no restaurant outside pool etc in use during the winter. Local walking but you need to have boots/shoes for the mud on the paths. Hint - The Tv has a DVD socket so take a lead if you want to plug in your laptop with films etc. TV does have freeview. Internet as advertised only available in reception and a separate hut (no heating). Typical BT rural connection so do not expect highspeed and streaming as is normal in rural areas . Telephone signal - only EE available. Great to get away from all the modern needs people want, but if you have children (or yourself) that rely on it not the place. This does mean for others though that you will not get people who need to be hooked up all the time :) Hot tub - 50p for about 8 minutes next to the indoor pool. Hoseans say arrival earliest 16.00 but at reception the notice said 15.00.
Booked at short notice, Great for a weekend break. Most Facilities on site closed due to being out of season. Knew at time of booking but not important to us as we wanted quiet fully self catering anyway. Would recommend all day long.
Such a lovely holiday. Lodges are spotless and every thing that u need to cook and eat with. Washing machines and airers and washing lines. The staff are so friendly. Nothing is a problem. This was our second time staying at Watermouth lodges.
Nice accommodation, well appointed and in a lovely location. The WiFi hub hut was much appreciated as telephone reception wasn’t great.
