Visitor Reviews of Winchelsea Sands

Kim, London
Date of stay: 26th July 2019
Caravan was suitable for our needs. Would of liked to have outside table & chair's. The club house could have offered more evening entertainment. Swimming pool was too small could only allow 45 people at a time. Therefore had to leave after 1 hour. On a positive note I enjoyed the 4 days @ Winchelsea Sands.

Excellent accommodation, parking an issue as car park had caravans in it .

Date of stay: 14th August 2017
The caravan was lovely. Very spacious. More than enough room for four of us. We made use of the large TV and the generous kitchen facilities.

Our Gold plus 2 caravan was lovely but the bedrooms were abit too small for us, would go for a bigger caravan next time
Ann, Sittingbourne
Date of stay: 14th April 2017
the caravan was not as described but nice.
Lilian, Newport Gwent
Date of stay: 31st March 2017
There is one conplete I have was on the inside of the main door there was seagulls dropping down the inside of the door. That should have been cleaned before we went in also there was children hand prints all over the inside of the Windows. So I don't think the caravan was cleaned properly before we went in. I have been in a good many of caravans and never have this been the case before.
Amanda, Greenhithe
Date of stay: 13th March 2017
Brand new caravan so no complaints at all
Yvette, Hemel Hempstead
Date of stay: 16th September 2016
Very comfortable smart looking caravan very modern the only things that need improving is storage. Only a tiny shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries. Double bedroom very small with no drawers. Even less storage in the twin room. We were ok because we used the second bedroom to store our things but if that was in Use it would have been cluttered
Stephen, Gillingham Kent

Accommodation that was well kept and suited all our needs
Tracy, Rochester, Kent
Date of stay: 17th June 2016
Considering this was a gold plus caravan, it was shockingly basic. Whilst being clean'ish and comfortable, there were no hangars in the wardrobes and not a lot of space for towels and accessories in the bathroom, however the real problem was the kitchen equipment, lack of cooking equipment, no tin opener, no cafetiere, only 2 small saucepans and 1 small frying pan, completely inadequate had the caravan been at the full capacity of 4-6 persons.
Ruth, Bicester
Date of stay: 13th June 2016
We will return.

lovely clean caravans, more bits needed in kitchen though to make it easier to cook rather than eat out.
Sue
Date of stay: 25th July 2015
There was a disgusting tin opener in the caravan, no bottle opener but the shower room and beds and bedlinen were very good
Christine
Date of stay: 17th July 2015

Luke, Bromley
Date of stay: 29th June 2015
Very nice and enjoyable family holiday, the park is great and is in a fantastic location.
Sarndra, Sutton Surrey
Date of stay: 15th June 2015
Caravan was clean and comfortable.
All the staff were polite and friendly
An easy drive to Hastings, Rye and Camber sands.
The stoney beach at Winchelsea was good but would recommend closed in beach shoes.
Club was good too which was an unexpected surprise. The live band was great too
Parking on site was a little tricky at times and would think in high season would be a problem
Lesley, Hemel Hempstead
Date of stay: 15th June 2015
The site is starting to look very nice with the changes that have been made so far. It is so nice to have better mattress's to sleep on they were so comfie!
Jane, Dover Kent
Date of stay: 20th March 2015
The caravan was comfortable
Plenty of room in the lounge and kitchen, but the bedrooms and bathroom were very cramped
Over all cleaning was ok but the kitchen could have been cleaned better and we had to wash the utensils before using
Susan, Whitstable
Date of stay: 26th September 2014
EVERYTHING WAS FINE IN THE CARAVAN APART FROM THE BED THAT WAS VERY NOISY DUE TO THE BASE UNDER THE MATTRESS FOR SOME REASON,BUT ONCE YOU WERE SETTLED AND COMFORTABLE,WE GOT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP.
Sarah
Date of stay: 30th August 2014
Lovely family friendly environment, staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome the childrens entertainment and activities were excellent as were the entertainers themselves. The pool was great and again staff were really great. Overall I would highly recommend this site and I will loook forward to staying here again.
Rachel, Crewe
Date of stay: 18th August 2014
My only complaint with the park was the lack of parking. Most sites we visit you can park by your caravan this is not the case here and there only just seems to be enough parking spaces.
Richard, Bracknell
Date of stay: 8th August 2014
very very nice staff and pool man. the club house was small enough to keep an eye on your child but big enough to entertain. the sea close enough to get too, as was Rye.
Andy
Lovely caravan, layout well though out.
Barbnara
Acomadation was good could not get oven to work good area for walks close to every where
Andrea
Caravan well equipped, warm, clean and didn't smell.
