Please see my previous review, the lodge was a disgrace, we gave the site 3 hours to sort out the issues and when we came back little had been rectified, so booked for 4 nights and left after one night. Were never going back to both Tummel Valley and Hoseasons . With Hoseasons you cannot speak to a human only via chat. If youre not on facebook, instagram or X you are in trouble.

Caravan VERY basic. No towels, no dish cloths, no tea towels, most places Ive been to at least give you a welcome pack with basics in, like condiments, soap, washing up liquid, etc. I suppose the idea is to not have any in the caravan so that you need to buy them at the shop on site. They charge you to hire towels.Staff not very helpful when we asked about activities. Food in chippy not very good, food in restaurant mediocre. Park itself is lovely and the surrounding area although the bins were often overflowing with rubbish. I would definitely visit this area again but in a different park.

Caravan was spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and helpful apart from the one who took our phone call.On the Friday when we arrived the boiler was not working so had no heating or hot water.I phoned reception at 6.30pm to be told it would be dealt with.No one arrived so we had no heating or hot water all Friday night.Thought someone would arrive Saturday morning but no luck,we went to reception and were told the girl who I reported the problem to must have forgot.

Specifically booked a larch caravan due to the washer/dryer, only to discover it was broken and no replacement available, had to go to reception to get money to use the laundrette on park, certainly not as convenient as having the one in the caravan, the restaurant on our last night - a lot of meals not available , we were told its the low season and they dont stock everything, yet we were told 103 vans were booked and allocated on the Monday, surely they could have ordered more food realising how busy the park was, dont think we will be back in a hurry to be honest

False impression that hot tubs are part of all lodges.River bank was too open for an area that has a lot of children playing, no fencing etc ie an accident waiting to happen. No swimming time available for just adults, arrived on the Friday and the swimming was fully booked for the week.Roads to and from the village was horrendous and a total nightmare.Strong place for families but nothing was just adults staying.Lovely lodge, well equipped and comfortable.

Lodge carpet badly stained. Not very clean and badly worn. Paving stones very loose and dangerous
Thomas
Date of stay: 25th June 2023
In the main cleanliness of the interior was ok with a few minor issues. The outdoor area however had not been cleaned as there were cobwebs all over the decking and the windows had not been cleaned in some time.Tap in kitchen sink was loose.Middle drawer in freezer stuck due to excessive ice build up.Middle bedroom door sticks.Front door does not seal properly.Overall more attention should be made to cleanliness of outside space and checking equipment of Lodge is in proper working order.

The caravan we where in was not the cleanest. One bed sheet had what looked like blood staines on it. And there where numerous insects stuck to the inside of the caravan door.

The lodge was very warm,at times we didnt have any running water which was a pain but it did come back eventually, the bed wasnt the most comfy for me and my partner a bit too soft. Everything else about the lodge was great.
