Towan Valley

This is a stunning location with beautifully designed eco-style holiday homes. It sits high above the golden sands of Porthtowan beach, and offers the best of the Cornish countryside combined with the joy of coastal living. Porthtowan is a surfers' heaven and the Blue Bar and Beachside restaurant is known for its chilled out atmosphere and great Cornish food.

If you love the great outdoors, this is the place for you. Go outdoor swimming at Jubilee Pool at Penzance harbour, diving at Falmouth and even camel trekking at Helston! If you've never been surfing before, Falmouth Surf School can get you up and running, and of course, Cornwall is known for its fabulous beaches - Helston is popular with watersport lovers.

We love these wonderful eco-houses - they're timber framed with sedum roofs and double glazed windows for heat retention. Sea Shore 4 has a luxurious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and four bedrooms, one with an ensuite wet room. The master bedroom is a spacious super king size double with ensuite shower.

If you fancy a break from the stunning beaches and watersports, Cornwall has enough history and culture to keep visitors entranced. Experience the sights and sounds of battle at Pendennis Castle or enjoy works by major British artists at Falmouth Art Gallery.

Lovely accommodation, had a great week. Well recommended
Nico (Manager on site) is very helpful and welcoming.
It's a shame Porth Towan beach isn't dog friendly in summer months.

Immaculately clean accommodation. Very well equipped. Loved the balcony. A glass of wine out there in the evening was lovely after long walks and busy days! Had more bathrooms than at home, saved the getting ready rush!

Date of stay: 28th July 2017
Great apartment for a family. Double room with ensuite, then a twin room with the family bathroom opposite. Lots of room in the living/dining room downstairs, with separate kitchen and cloakroom. All very clean and well presented.

My only criticism would be a lack of space to put groceries. We had a delivery on our first morning and struggled to find space to put all the non-fridge/freezer stuff like cereals, pasta, rice, beans, etc.

When we arrived we were greeted & shown to our lodge, first impressions from all were good at how big the lodge was & everything appeared to be satisfactory.
We did discover an issue with some of the mattress & pillow protectors being dirty & stained but upon complaining things were rectified straight away with deepest apologies.

Beautiful and modern. All the home comforts. There was tea and coffee provided on arrival which was a nice touch after a long journey. The local shop was about a five minute walk selling the essentials. Another nice unexpected touch was the miniature soaps etc and toilet rolls

Lovely accommodation, well equipped with good standard crockery and cutlery. We didn't have a frying pan but as soon as we asked it was provided. Best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. 4 great bedrooms. Lovely bathrooms and furnishings. Would stay again.

We were a family of 10 and were provided with three apartments next door to each other, one also seemed like an upgrade as it had 3 bedrooms. We were also allowed a later checkout because of a toddler at no extra charge. Staff could not be more helpful and accommodating, the apartments were spacious and modern and everything that we needed was included. We though the standard was very high, and extras such as boardgames/ welcome pack were thoughtful additions. Could not recommend enough, we would love to go back!
Awesome resort - will definitely be back for another visit. Staff are so hospitable and helpful.
We had a lovely holiday lovely location, very relaxing.
We had a good week in March but might seem overcrowded in high season. The accomodation is first class and Nico is great!
We arrived on Monday of February half term with our two teenage daughters and Tilly the dog. We were met by the lovely welcoming Jo who settled us in and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was warm and cosy, very clean and nicely decorated throughout with modern furnishings and a brilliantly well equipped kitchen. It exceeded all our expectations! Town Valley is nicely tucked away just a few minutes walk from the beach, amazing coastal walks a well stocked village shop and of course a lovely beach bar..what more do you need?
Very impressed with the complex and the high level of cleanliness and presentation of the Sea Mist 3. It made for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday.
An excellent time. Lovely clean and well maintained eco lodge. The manager was so very attentive. The meet and greet was a lovely touch. Only concern was the area you gad to drive through to get to the house. I must admit i wondered what we were coming to but this was short lived. I would definitely return.
We had a fantastic new year here - all 11 of us! Iā€™d recommend Towan Valley to everyone. Perfect location for walking and a lovely beach too. Got a nice bar/cafe by the beach to. What more could you ask for? šŸ˜€
Great location
Beautiful and very well kept lodge. Very clean and spacious with appliances and everything you could need. Really good base for exploring local areas everything in Cornwall is within a 40-5min drive. Nico very helpful indeed and went to lots of trouble to make our stay that bit more special. We already want to book for next summer!
Absolutely FAB
Fantastically modern, clean, comfortable, well equipped accommodation. Great friendly welcome and a fab welcome pack in the house. A 10 minute downhill walk to the beach. Great location for exploring Cornwall. We will be coming back!
