Caravan clean and tidy. Had 3 bedroom and plenty of space for your belongings. Kitchen compact and serviceable. Slight issue with fridge, as it was quite a bit smaller than normal, but still squished everything inside

Tracy was accommodating and welcoming. The caravan was spacious, bright and airy. Everything you could need is there. The only bit I noticed was an occasional train passing. Beautiful and would truly recommend

Settee is a little uncomfortable, other than that I cannot fault it.

The site was quiet and very well maintained, caravan was clean and warm and even had a few essentials like tea towels, washing up liquid and toilet rolls.Would not hesitate recommending or rebooking, the whole place was just perfect.Bus stop into York is a 10 min walk, and worth taking the bus as parking is a nightmare, on the down side the pub at the edge of the site has shut down and the only other pub within walking distance is not great for food???? we went last Sunday and after buying a drink and bingo cards was told no food being sold, they even had menu boards outside - very disappointing and misleading - make sure you take some food with you as a back up!

We were disappointed in the fact that we could not eat locally and this did spoil our holiday but the site was lovely. We used the site as a base to visit York and other places of interest but would be no good for someone who was going to be onsite all the time or who had no transport.

Unit which we hired that was in excellent condition & had everything to be self sufficient. No clubhouse or entertainment, but there are 2 pubs close by, both serving food if required. There is also a small, well stock village store in the village of Tollerton, a 10 min walk or 4 min drive away.

Thought price was a little high for a site with nothing on it but still happy with our break

Everything good only gripe was seating was a bit firm and beds a little soft.
Minor point though.

Caravan had double and two twin bedrooms , two toilets and a fantastic shower. Kitchen was compact but fairly well equipped, with a small freezer over the fridge. TV could have been bigger and seating was really hard and uncomfortable.

Really good holiday in a beautiful Lodge with numerous interesting places to visit.

Date of stay: 21st September 2019
The caravan door stuck and made a bit of a racket when opening and shutting. Late at night we had to try lifting the door to open and close without disturbing other people. The towel holder in the bathroom was broken and fell off when we hung towel on it. We did report it to Reception and hopefully both will be fixed for the next people to stay in it. Compared to a lot of other sites it was very good value for money and the two items mentioned plus the slightly lumpy mattress in double bedroom didn't spoil our stay.

We were very surprised how modern, clean and tidy the caravan was, especially for the price. The only one negative we would say, is the seating isn't very comfy, however, with so much to do in the area, it's not like we were needing to lounge around all day.

As people who rely on reviews ourselves, I would very much recommend Tollerton Holiday Park for it's central yet rural location and it's small and ideal surroundings and facilities.

We'd have no hesitation coming here again.
