We had a lovely time in our chalet in Bodmin. Surrounded by trees and many small birds visited our table outside when we left them food. It looked like our chalet had recently been renovated. Carpet was new as so the furnishings. Would recommend anyone to visit. The only thing I would say the road lanes around the camp are narrow. We found the one that was the best to use though, but being only 40 mins to hour from any coastline it was an excellent choice.

First time ever at this site. Absolutely stunning. A real haven of peace and tranquility. Beautiful wildlife, birds and squirrels on the picnic table. If you want noisy children, noisy bars etc then don't come here because this is a different class. Wifi is good and free. They even have smart tv's. The shop is very useful and convenient with some very nice products in it. The site is beautifully maintained with exquisite shribs, flowers and trees around. The site is well positioned for everywhere in Cornwall. Just be really careful on the lanes as they are narrow and can be a bit hairy. Drive slowly and carefully and you'll be fine. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We didn't have a single problem all well and the chalet was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the chalets are well spaced apart. We thoroughly recommend this site especially if you want some peace and quiet in a lovely location.

Beautiful, quiet and idyllic setting. This really was the perfect place to unwind and relax, even more so since we visited in the off-season.The facilities in the lodge were fantastic. I felt like the owners thought of everything - particularly with a very well equipped kitchen. There is also a little playground for the little ones onsite. We were pleasantly surprised to find a little woodland walk leading off from the playground which my 3 year old daughter loved.Location is also great. Centrally located in Cornwall, you can get to north and south coasts in around 25-40 minutes. Surrounding area is also beautiful with good hiking and riding options pretty much on the doorstep. Finally, special mention to the owners who were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly throughout. Big thanks to Andrew who was on the scene in a flash after my daughter locked herself in the lodge!Highly recommended, we shall be back!

Very old fashioned, nobs falling off drawers, smelt damp and foysty, twice we had to request bins to be emptied despite being told they would be emptied on Wednesdays and Saturdays which never happened. Beds were massively uncomfortable you could feel the bed slats through the mattress. Loads of bugs in there when we arrived so we were never able to get rid of them. They have a park more suited to older children nothing for toddlers or young children. No facilitates 1 very small shop on site which very little in, charging £7.60 for 8 rashes of bacon ????. Stayed much nicer places for less and we won't be returning. Saw some negative reviews prior to going and thought we'd chance it as everyone's experience is different. But nope they were completely honest reviews.

We needed to take our own linens, but everything else was provided. My husband thought the mattress was a little on the hard side, but it was just different from ours at home!
