Visitor Reviews of Ruda

Jim, Poole
Date of stay: 17th August 2020
The en-suite that wed booked the caravan for not being there annoyed me through the week. Didnt want to make a big deal of it though and from what people said there would be no spares to move to anyway. Small problem with the shower was fixed within an hour. Other than that the caravan was great for our family and needs.
Sandra, Bristol

Lodge was lovely clean and comfortable the only things I would say was the fridge door never seemed to close properly and the shower screen on the bath wouldnt close properly so leaked. Apart from that no complaints.

Absolutely love Ruda at Croyde Bay. Fab location, beach just over the road and village a short walk away with couple of good pubs, ice cream shop etc. We stayed in 3 bed Dartmouth caravan, was great. We have booked to come back for Christmas. Smashing walk over baggy point to woolacombe. Tarka trail also v close, we hired bikes from Braunton, great day out with the kids. Body boarding and surfing was great fun. Would highly recommend for a fab family holiday.

Few issues in both restaurants. Really poor service in the Italian restaurant and cold meals sent back in other restaurant. Inappropriate language used by person working in kids shop when kids were present.

Date of stay: 5th July 2019
Our apartment was amazing, right on the beach. We were very pleased with the location of and the facilities at the resort, something for all ages. We utilised the spa pool and hot tub every day and we loved the stroll into the village of Croyde nearby. The location of the resort allowed us to explore North Devon and all it's beauty. The apartment was excellent, the little extras made a difference. Dish washer plus tablets and washer/dryer plus tablets are a lovely touch. Although the apartment was fairly clean it could do with a thorough cleaning. The woodwork, doors especially, are in need of a good clean, these were sticky around the handles. However, we thoroughly enjoyed are holiday and hope to return in the near future.

Date of stay: 22nd February 2019
Harracott lodge was the perfect accommodation for 2 families sharing. Enough bathrooms (en suite) and plenty of living space to get together for films, games and socialising. The boot room kept the living space clean and tidy even with the children. Everything was clean and well kept. We all came away saying that the accommodation made our holiday and wed love to go back.
