The worse holiday ever. The caravan was dirty, shabby and old. When we pulled up outside the caravan we were so disappointed, it looked so old and shabby. The same inside , what a big disappointment. The bed linen was clean, which was a plus. The dining table was broken and was one of the settees. No balcony or outside seating area, we had booked to take our dogs and the only area outside area was where other owners had let their dogs use it as a toilet. Laugharne is beautiful and so is the surrounding areas. Book elsewhere and then youll have a great holiday.

Lovely caravan however toilet floor has a huge dip in it which will go at any point. The shower needs attention. The caravan is parked in an awful place lots of mud and puddles which was a nightmare with three small kids. The car got stuck in the mud we struggled to get it out and now its broken due to high revs to get out of the mud.

TV kept going off or freezing, electricity kept tripping out had to go outside to switch back on. No tin opener in caravan, not much room for 2 people in twin room, especially if you are over 6ft. Pull out bed in living area was broken so couldn't be used.

Arrived on Saturday went to restaurant for tea they had no fish, sausage or any items we requested. Grandchildren wanted to go swimming Sunday afternoon we got there only to be told pool closed until Tuesday, I was told not much point opening on a Monday because it us check in/ check out day. When we did go on Tuesday one of the toilets had broken tiles on the floor that had come away from the wall. The caravan had mould on the bedroom walls. When it rained which it did alot the roads around the caravan park were like lakes and the only way to get in and out of the caravan was to paddle through the water, which was disgusting, with 2 children.

Your entertainment was absolutely rubbish the seating was very uncomfortable and tables always sticky/dirty, you had the audacity to charge me £8.50 for my grandson to watch paw patrol only to see they were cardboard cutouts what a cheek you pride yourselves on value but even you have to agree that's not family value.I would not recommend this park or even this holiday company to any of my friends or family.

We had very little sleep as the gas alarm went off every night between 10pm 7 am l report this every morning but known body could fix the problem therefore we went home on the sun a day early also gas cooker would not work on three gas ring , 90% of the doors would not shut the kitchen would not open also the main door into the van would not open therfore we had to call the desk to sent someone to sort this out when we left the staff stated they would take the van out of service will not be returning.

Its a Parkdean resort not Hoseasons, so bear that in mind when you book as you can probably get cashback from the usual places. Meals from Parkdean chip shop were inedible and expensive; meals from onsite bistro bar also expensive and minuscule but ok - would definitely not recommend either. You are quite isolated so options are limited without a tricky drive out of resort.Swimming pool was tiny and very shallow. The pre booked swimming spaces really could have scuppered our swim since they were booked up before our 4 night break arrival on Sunday presumably by arrivals on Friday/Saturday. Luckily we managed to get in, pool so disappointing that we didnt try again; I suspect we got in due to previous bookings not showing up. Its a shame because its on a lovely beach and in a really lovely area and our actual caravan was nice.Parkdean resorts are generally run down and this is no exception, we wouldnt have booked if we had known. We wanted to see what Hoseasons was like and feel a bit ripped off that it was Parkdean.

The caravan was listed as a 4berth but it would have been a bit cramped with 4 people in even children. It was ok for us aa a bed and breakfast. The caravan we had didn't have a turnaround so you had to either reverse in or out past several caravans which could be dodgy in the dark. The restaurant was clean and the girls who were running it were excellent always pleasant and helpful even under pressure.

Was told I couldn't book in after 11, so waited till next day only to be told I could have came in the night as sercity had keys. Turned up caravan had dog hairs on floor, bed had hairs in it. Reception seemed to care, however needed to go to reception twice more before a cleaner turned up 4 hours later, only 1 cleaner on whole site, lovely girl but well over worked. After that the holiday was as expected, lovely location right next to the beach. 20mins away from oakwood and Heatherton. The club house was good in the evenings, arcade wasn't the biggest, but as we wasn't onsite a lot it didn't bother us. Overall nice location, nice friendly staff, would use site again as it was just a place to sleep, if I was wanting to stay on site then i would book somewhere with better facilities

Caravan was clean on arrival. However the mattresses and pillows did not have protection covers. The mattresses on the twin bed was to long for the base making it uncomfortable for someone over the height of 5'6" as their feet and the mattress hang over the base.

Excellent family holiday in a lovely part of the world! Enjoying the best of both beach and country side, where we were truly able to switch off and relax. A much needed tonic!!!

Overall was a relaxing break after 4 months of working from home. The beach and local facilities were great and the wider area was worth exploring. Travelling with 3 young children and 2 dogs was an adventure in itself but having the open spaces and countryside walks proved a success for the whole family. The only downside was the accommodation. The caravan hadn't been cleaned properly and the emails for contactless checking in that we were told would be sent 2 days prior never arrived. Meaning we had to drive to reception first and then the van was locked up so we had to wait for someone to come with keys....after a 10 hour drive this is that last thing you want to happen. Receptiin were also less than helpful when we reported that we had no gas on our final evening so could not shower despite spending the day on the beach. We were left with no gas until we left so could not clean properly either. The step to the caravan was also broken causing it to fall down when stepped on. This caused a few scraped ankles for the children. The area itself is beautiful and worth a visit but the resort and caravan park need to up their game as it wasnt worth the amount we paid to stay there.

Caravan had a few issues couldnt switch shower off easily. Master bedroom door wouldnt shut without slamming it and taps quite loose on kitchen sink but none of which affected our stay.

Overall the caravan was clean and tidy. There were one or two things like some of the glassware were dirty and we found crisp packets stuffed down the sofa.

The only downside was that towels were meant to be provided on arrival. They werent. We
Were given some
ASAP but they were old, used, mismatched towels of all colours and sizes. Low standard.

Lovely weekend great for children of a young age as plenty of outside park areas, my grandchildren are 9 and 5 years of age which suited their age group.
