Date of stay: 25th August 2018
We were impressed with the location of the cottage which was very spacious. The kitchen area was a little bit dark as there was no window and we set the smoke alarm off on a couple of occasions! There was a bit of a musty smell in the cottage but on the whole we were very happy with the facilities within our cottage so much so that we will probably be booking again for next year.

Date of stay: 29th March 2014
The rose cottage was comfortable and clean with all facilities you could need. The kitchen was well equipped and I don't remember having to hunt for anything I needed.
Perhaps the one thing I could mention was that the TV was a little small (but we have quite a large one at home so perhaps it looked small in comparison)
Margaret, Bolkton
Date of stay: 24th March 2014
The cottage is cosy and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. We had everything we needed. Very clean.
Helen
We have stayed here a few times now. I think that tells you something!! only down sides are, The pool doesn't open until 10am and I like to go for early morning swims whilst it is quiet and am usually out and about by 10am so have to use the public pool in Bridlington. (also shallow end is just a little too shallow for swimming) Also the wifi access can be a little unpredictable and random at times but not major problem as I can use my phone.
Stuart
Second time at Orchard Farm and we are more than satisfied with our stay both times.
Joseph
Wonderful time wonderful staff really helpful

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.

If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop.
