Oakwood Lodges is part of our Autograph Lodge Holidays Collection and is conveniently located amidst the beautiful scenery of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds.

This small collection of stylish lodges provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, yet superbly located for exploring the many treasures along the Yorkshire coastline and historic York only a 20 minute drive away.

Another lovely stay at Oakwood Lodges. Very welcoming and comfortable lodge. If remodelling a larger fridge freezer would be beneficial there are 1 or two places this could be accommodated. I would consider a summer stay but not at the moment with the fridge freezer being so small. The lodges are quite remote which is lovely but shopping wise you would need to shop for food each day if self catering. Some take aways do deliver but cost is high for delivery. The Chinese restaurant and take away advertised in the holiday folder I wouldnt recommend it was very expensive and not enjoyable at all.

This was a brilliant get away, I couldnt have asked for a better location and experience. The staff were kind and the facilities were fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone. Only flaw was the internet was abit slow and the tv small and outdated, but who really needs these when you can watch nature and chill in the jacuzzi.

We had a lovely few days in our comfortable and cosy lodge. The accomodation is tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. The large hot tub is set on decking overlooking a lovely pond, with lots of birds to watch. It is a peaceful getaway place, still in easy reach of York and Hull. The host Gerry was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommended!

Easy check in and received a text for an hour early check in which was great! Spotlessly clean and everything was we needed was there. The hot tub was lovely and ready on arrival with a stunning view. The only thing that could be upgraded is the beds very low and a little uncomfortable. Other than that thank you for a great weekend!

We felt that the lodge was a bit dated. Wall heater looked as if it was about to fall off the wall. Cutlery was a bit miss matched.fry pan had seen better days. Window blinds were very dated. Fire screen did not light up. Hot tub cover was difficult to manoeuvre it appeared as if the steel frame needed to be anchored to the decking. Shower tray would fill with water when showering to the point we thought it would overflow. We've stayed at Oaklands a few times a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stays. As I said earlier everything seems dated

Lovely place to just chill and relax, but if you don't want to selby and York nearby, my 2 little dogs loved it as well, hot tub was lovely too, our 2nd time here but won't be our last

Loved the isolation and quiet.First time for many years that we were able to appreciate the night sky without the intrusion of street lights or the noise of passing vehicles.Two small maintenance details that should have been picked up but was more of an inconvenience than a major problem were the toilet fan that was so badly worn it mimicked a jumbo jet engine. Second the shower would barely drain and several times came close to overflowing.

A stunning lodge. Tbh I don't want to sing its praises to high as I want it to be a secret so it's always available for me. But Gerry and the guys at Oakwood lodges deserve the praise.This lodge is a little gem, underfloor heating, modern kitchen, seclusion. I could not ask for more.
