Kent » New Romney

Marlie enjoys a countryside location, but is just a short drive from the coast.

Perhaps, more accurately, it’s a golf swing and a half from the sea, as Littlestone Golf Club is situated between Marlie and the nearest beach - so don’t forget your clubs!

Marlie is a beautiful countryside park set between the Kentish villages of New Romney and Dymchurch.

It’s perfect for families with young children offering great park facilities to keep the kids entertained, including a modern entertainment venue and restaurant.

The new heated indoor pool (built-in 2020) is ideal for a dip after a busy day out exploring Kent, and there’s an adventure play area too.

This park is also a beacon for nature lovers.

Adjacent to the park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Dungeness, a shingle-based setting that shelters a large area of low-lying land called Romney Marsh.

It’s home to a huge variety of migratory birds, uncommon plants, insects and more.

The visitor centre is very close to the park so be sure to take a look!

Marlie is also home to a large colony of rabbits, plus one of our very own, our colourful mascot Loopy! Come and see us at Marlie soon.

Date of stay: 15th August 2014
We didn't spend a great deal of time on the park as we have friends who live near by.
Other families were very friendly and my children made lots of friends.
The swimming pool water was a bit merky but other than that a great place to stay, would recommend.
Michael, Wallasey
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
Great staff couldn't do enough. Park was smaller than thought. Enjoyed the stay and would go again.
Judy, Witham
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
Nice quiet park, safe for kids to play, small safe pool (no deep end) really close to RHD railway and beach.
Emma, Huntingdon
Date of stay: 14th July 2014
First time in a lodge and i cant believe the difference it makes compared to staying in a caravan.
The only thing that let the stay down slightly was when an extremely noisy family stayed in the lodge next door for two nights.
Barbara, Kent
Date of stay: 11th July 2014
Very impressed with the standard of cleanliness. Caravan was quite old but as we got it at discounted price was adequate. Disappointed that pool closed on Thursdays as this was main reason for 4 night stay as grandsons learning to swim. Also food in bar was not always good value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Emily, Staplehurst
Date of stay: 27th June 2014
I've given a poor rating for facilities as, upon arrival, we were given a map of the place which showed a large area marked 'playground'. In fact there WAS no playground, there was just a large grassy area where several diggers were digging up the ground. We located the small playground near the Entertainment Suite, all of which was out of bounds as it had been dismantled for repairs!! Wish someone had told us before we booked that there'd be NOWHERE for my children to play.

this is a nice small park, well maintained and clean static caravans

Great value for price. Basic but all you need for a holiday is there. Looking a bit tired but was kept extremely clean
