Date of stay: 23rd April 2018
We had a pleasant weekend stay in Elm Lodge. We found the lodge to be very spacious, clean and comfortable. There was everything we needed. It also felt peaceful and private.
A previous reviewer found it a problem that it is next to the laundry. We found this to be an advantage in our case as we are walkers and could use the laundry as a drying room. There was even an outside sink for cleaning boots.
Helen, Flamborough

We visited for a long weekend for a 21st birthday and had the best time we couldnt fault it, it wa lovenly and clean the staff where accommodating and very relaxed we put banners and balloons up and they where more than happy to let us do so! We have everything we needed within the lodge like pots and pans and that sort of thing! The best bit was the hot tub! It was amazing. Clean and well kept! The owner came around every morning and checked it and made sure it was all correct for us to use again that day! Would defiantly recommend!!

We had a fantastic weekend at Lindale Park, the owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The guide book they have created inside the lodge suggesting walks and places to eat was brilliant, the lodge was very clean and comfortable as was the hot tub. Our only regret is that we didnt book for longer! We would highly recommend this beautiful and secluded park.

My first break in a lodge. Elm Lodge is very spacious, spotlessly clean and well cared for.
The bed was very comfortable and the there is loads of storage space.
The kitchen is large and contains all you need for a break.
The pond outside the lounge patio doors attracts many different birds and is very relaxing to look and listen to.
Emily, Barnsley
Date of stay: 3rd July 2017
This mini break was faultless, gorgeous location surrounded by lovely little villages and so remote. The log cabin was beautiful, so relaxing, very well equipped. So private with excellent quality hot tub and BBQ. We only wished we were staying longer and deffo plan to revisit!

Date of stay: 30th June 2017
Value for money was excellent.
Date of stay: 16th June 2017
As this is a pet friendly lodge, I would recommend to ensure the hovering is done more. There was still dog hair on the carpet, I hooved just as I went in and they were gone. No problems doing this but just as I took my 2 year old daughter, I would ensure that hairs were removed.
Date of stay: 16th June 2017

Date of stay: 14th March 2016
Great relaxing time - stayed in the healey lodge which was beautiful and well equipped (other than no towels)!
Only down side was: having to be out of the hot tub by 11pm.... Doesn't make Sense as the lodge is tucked away with just one immediate neighbour. Also, defeats the object of having outside decking with tables and chairs, would you be expected to go inside on a summers night at 11pm. I'd hope not?!
I felt being checked on and told to get out of the hot tub by the site manager at 10.55pm quite controlling and at 45 years old felt like I was having a telling off!! Need to lighten up a little I'd say ... Just saying :-)
Sarah, Doncaster
Date of stay: 14th March 2016
The only reason that I scored this a 9 overall was due to one of the hot tub motors not working fully. An engineer had been out the day before, but would not have the part until the Saturday morning.
We were advised of this, by the owner during the initial tour, and we were impressed and pleased that he was so upfront with this information. The whole purpose of our stay was to use the hot tub and relax - which is what we did

Lovely tranquil site, there's not much to do on the site itself but if there was it wouldn't be as tranquil. Lots to do in the locality, fantastic accommodation, lovely staff. The only minor criticism I would have is that the wi-fi is very hit and miss, don't expect much of a phone signal.

Date of stay: 26th June 2015
Lovely accommodation. The owner provided a new oven on the day we arrived as the other one was broken. The only down side were the flies coming in, but it is in the countryside so be prepared.
Date of stay: 26th June 2015
We loved out stay here. Staff were helpful in moving furniture to accommodate our travel cot. Could do with a tiny shoo on site that sells basics but the nearest village is a 5-10 min drive so nit really an issue. Loved the peace and quiet and the hot tub just made it that extra bit special. Loads to see and do in that area. Would deffo go back x
Philip, Sheffield
Date of stay: 20th June 2015

Susan, Burnley
Date of stay: 12th June 2015
The walk-in wardrobe was a treat and the hot tub was fantastic, large, very hot and a great stress buster. The only tiny problems were the cooker(grill tricky to use), settees a bit lumpy. The lodge was superb and the area has plenty to offer, lots of lovely little towns and villages such as Masham,Bedale and Leyburn. The walks need to be signposted and paths made walker-friendly.
Date of stay: 30th May 2015
Lovely lodge maybe a little to overgrown needed the trees cut back a little to let the sun on the outdoor area, Yes there was sun!!! :-)

We stopped at lindane holiday park in larch lodge for 4 nights in August and thoroughly enjoyed it . The lodge was immaculately clean, very spacious and fitted out with quality fixtures and fittings including dishwasher, large fridge, powerful shower ect . The beds were very comfy, with spotless clean white bedding. Outside there was a decked veranda with a gas BBQ and table and chairs. The park is in a beautiful and tranquil area , which made you feel so relaxed and surrounded by wildlife which my two young children loved. The park is very quiet and there is nothing to do on site, but great for a cosy base for exploring the dales. We went to lightwater valley, Bolton castle, Wensleydale creamery and brimham rocks to mention a few . We didn't want to leave we enjoyed it so much and would defiantly return .
Well done !
David, Liverpool
Date of stay: 22nd August 2014
The lodge was located to allow complete privacy when using the hot tub. The furniture, particularly the outdoor table and chairs was a step up from the usual green/white plastic that you normally get.

Date of stay: 9th August 2014
Two things lacked in the accomodation which has stopped me giving it 10/10. There was no clothes airer for wet towels which was very inconvenient when you have 4 wet towels every day after everyone has a shower! And the cleanliness of the lodge was great apart from the bbq we came to use it and it was thick with burnt on food. Very unclean I thought this should have been clean ready for us to use.
Ramona, Morecambe

Everything you need in a lodge (infact the saucepans are better than mine at home!!). Lots of wardrobe space, very large bathroom and a hot hot shower!! Beds are so comfortable and the pilloes fluffy!! The lodge allowed dogs (we took ours) but there was nothing (such as dog hair) to say another dog had ever been there. Clean as a whistle cannot fault the place!!!

It was low down in the park so when it rained (which it did for 2 days) it was really muddy around the lodge.

So clean considering its the only lodge that accepts dogs. Very impressed overall. Was a lovely getaway break for us and the hot tub was perfect after a long day exploring. Loved the peace and quiet of the area. Even our teenagers lived without internet for the weekend! It was perfect....thank you.

Lovely and helpful staff, lovely location, lovely hot tub, good value for money, would return one day, lovely and cosy lodge.
Lovely location. Nice holiday home which was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was excellent.
Very pleasant stay in the Lindale Pine Lodge. Very peaceful place, great hot tub and spacious accommodation. Nice to have use of a dishwasher and 2 bathrooms. Only criticism would be no tea towels, hand towels or soap provided.
stayed at pine lodge (002) on a five day break after losing my wonderful mother to cancer. myself and my husband loved this place it was so peaceful and cosy. the standards of cleanliness is amazing spotless right down to the highly polished cutlery.you have everything you need apart from towels and dish towels which is understandable due to the use of the brilliant hot tub you will use alot. the hot tub is just fantasctic our first time ever in one so must say looking forward to next time. loved waking up in the morning and watch the wildlife around us bunny rabbits grouse pheasant birds singing sheep lambs. we even tried the barbecue cooked lovely sausages and sat at the table alfresco was lovely. everything was just perfect in the lodge we wanted total peace and quiet and thats just what we got so we would recommend staying here well done trevor top marks from us x
Fab place, highly recommend.
Brilliant site and perfect lodge. We went with 2 young kids who loved it. Had to travel a bit to find things to do but we knew that in advance. Would recommend.
Very nice quiet holiday park
The lodge was fantastic, everything u needed, beds where very comfy. Hot tub was lovely we even had a bbq which was a bonus as it was my husbands birthday so we stopped in had a bbq a few drinks then into hot tub , scenery was lovely loooking out on to fields with little lambs . So quite just what we wanted really chilled out . The manager was great with us nothing to much trouble, showed us round how to work the hot tub etc . Only thing we thought could be improved was having a rubbish bin a bit nearer think the only one on site was right at the entrance , it meant taking your rubbish in the car with you on way out that we didn’t like. Also at this camp make sure you take towels for hot tub as this hoeseasons site didn’t include any . But all In all fantastic will be booking again .
Fantastic base to explore the surrounding area. Lodge amazing and hot tub and massive hit with all the family.
Lovely quiet location, small park & well kept. Only 10 mins from Bedale shops & just a bit further to Masham.
Lovely accommodation and location. We were not in walking distance to anywhere but the location was quiet and just what we needed to unwind. Lots of great walks around and the highlight was coming back, having a BBQ on the gas BBQ which was so easy to use and finished off in the hot tub with a drink. Accommodation was spotless with a bathroom for each bedroom. Would thoroughly recommend.
A very comfortable lodge with excellent facilities in a peaceful location.

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
