Lovely lodge, immaculate throughout, lovely quiet park, perfect for older families and couples wanting a quiet retreat. Was a good base for our little family though as lots in surrounding areas, one of the lady's on the park recommended the playground on Sand le Mer which was about a 10 minute walk. Would be nice to have coat hooks and gate on decking but honestly couldn't fault it. Struggled with the smart TV being temperamental and Will was very friendly and quick to sort. Would definitely return :)

As previously said a great place to stay. Needs a smart tv. The bed was comfortable and the sofas were ok. Cleanliness needs maintaining not missing out the corners and ceilings. Great addition having a washing machine but there was no dryer.Obviously site isnt finished yet so that may be different in the future. I would stay again but more out of season time . I will keep an eye on other peoples reviews in the future in case that changes. Just a great place if you want some peace and quiet. Not far to the beach but a lot of steps to get onto it and its pebbles not so much sand. Shops not far and got everything we needed for the seven nights. Just keep up with the standards ( cleaning and maintenance on the lodge)

enjoyable, comfortable stay, after getting Will's help to switch on heating and fire, could have avoided this if there was some intructions.

Fabulous lodge with a lovely verandah. The neighbours either side were very welcoming and friendly. Fully integrated appliances were a bonus. Plenty of space for us 3 adults and a 6 Yr old. Our granddaughter loved the wildlife pond and fed the fish. We visited all the usual spots. And the best of all ..... we had lovely hot weather. We would recommend this lodge to people looking for quality accommodation in a peaceful location and we would go again.

I wanted a quiet few days away and got just that. If you're after a site with plenty going on then this isn't for you.

I read the reviews before I went and here's my take.

- there is no Reception on site and the keys are left in the door ready for you. It would be useful if the notes that come with the holiday made this clearer

- on arrival I texted the mobile number provided to let Will know I was there and checking if he needed any further details which he didn't

- the lodge was spacious, clean and well quipped with a good standard of fittings

- a bottle of wine and Maltesers were in the fridge and tea/coffee sachets were provided as well as dishwasher tablets, scourers, tea towel and oven gloves

- kitchen equipment was good and all I needed was there

- some earlier reviews had commented on the bed and springs poking through. I did not find this to be the case at all and slept well. The only comment I would make regarding the mattress is that it is a little on the soft side

- there is Wi-Fi but it can be temperamental I could connect my phone but not always my tablet

Lodge was fantastic. Home from home, lovely and clean with all mod cons, with a welcoming bottle of wine!..only negative it had a picnic table on decking, a couple of chairs would of been better for us oldies. But would still return.
