It was amazing, it's just that I am always hoping for a bargain so would like to pay a bit less but I am sure it is worth every penny it costs.

Despite poor weather for the time of year there was still plenty of places to visit in the area.
It was a very comfortable lodge and was excellent value for money.

There is nothing I could possibly think to fault about the cabin itself. It is kept incredibly tidy and has clearly been designed with comfort in mind.

Everything we needed and more.
Date of stay: 13th March 2017
We enjoyed a long weekend break in the middle lodge (Red Oak?). The lodge had clearly been fitted out to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean as well as having really comfortable beds. The grounds were lovely, we definitely came at the right time with the daffodils in full bloom. The location is a great base to visit the surroundings with easy access to Chichester, Petersfield, Portsmouth etc. The only one criticism is the signage on the main road, it was small and obscured by greenery so we drove past twice before we caught sight of it. We would definitely come back again and we have recommended to friends.

Clean and tidy lodge

Clean comfortable lodge. Gardens are nice but uneven ground made it difficult for me to negotiate at times. The photos give the impression that you are going to be by a lake but we could find no sign of a lake anywhere!
Date of stay: 5th August 2016
The lodge was well equipped and obviously new. Everywhere was well decorated and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The lodges are in a row with access from a carpark at the end of the row so there is a short distance to carry belongings. It would be good to have a curtain to draw over the main entrance at night. The door window is plain glass and situated immediately outside the bedroom and bathroom doors. It did feel like a goldfish bowl.
This was my first but definitely not my last visit.
If you want some peace to relax in then this is the place to do it.
I have to say this is probably the first place where I can honestly say there was absolutely
nothing to find fault with.
Excellent short break
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
A beautiful peaceful place to stay will definitely return.
Very peaceful and relaxing just what we needed, very helpful staff, would definitely go again.
Lovely place . Peaceful
We are going again in March 2018
The ideal place for a quiet and peaceful get away. There are three lodges in the most beautiful environment. Each lodge has a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and extractor. Pots, pan plates, glasses, cups etc all provided. Bathroom came with an excellent shower in the bath. The room was large and had storage space. The bedroom had two large wardrobes, chest of draws, a very large bed and a tv mounted on wall. The living area had a comfortable settee and a tv with Netflix available. Excellent wifi service in fact all the comforts of home.
If it's peace and quiet in a beautiful setting your after, then this is the place to go. The lodge is spotless, well equipped, with an exceptionally large comfortable bed. I cannot recommend this location enough. A visit to Arundel castle is well worth the trip,I will definitely visit again.
Lovely lodge in quiet surroundings. Enjoyed our mid week break. Ideal place to explore the South coast.
A very peaceful location
Had a lovely weekend at hamblin lodge. Lovely clean lodge in beautiful surroundings. Peaceful except for a little road noise but it's just background noise. Had a lovely walk to bosham quay, Such a beautiful place. Whit swan do lovely food and the So India do a lovely Indian takeaway. Would definitely return again.
My husband and I were delighted with this lodge. I hadn't appreciated it was part of a retreat when we booked but that didn't matter as it just meant it was really peaceful and relaxing and we had the option to join in with the many activities in the main building if we wanted to. We decided just to make the most of the surroundings and enjoy ourselves. I was amazed at how many lovely and interesting places there were to visit all around. Everything seemed to be on our doorstep there, including a large variety of good pubs and restaurants and shopping opportunities, including local small supermarkets. We can't wait to go back again.
