Grange Park Lodges are located just outside of the peaceful village of Messingham in Lincolnshire and are the perfect rural retreat for families and groups of friends looking for spacious accommodation and easy access to all the regions attractions.

Picture postcard villages offer good shopping opportunities, traditional tea shops and friendly local pubs, while the thriving city of Lincoln with its many sites of historical interest is less than an hour away. The beautiful beaches and traditional seaside towns of the east coast are also within reach.

The site itself has a relaxed and friendly vibe with plenty of open space for children to play. Facilities include an 18 hole golf course, golf and tennis tuition, a driving range, fishing and bowls. There is also a clubhouse with bar and occasional evening entertainment in high season.

Accommodation is in a range of attractive and beautifully furnished country lodges designed to give guests a "home from home" feel.  Grange Lodge sleeps 6 and has three bedrooms and an open plan living area. The VIP version also has a private outdoor hot tub. Country Lodge is the largest and most luxurious on the park sleeping up to 8 people. Fun Days Out in Lincolnshire

Natureland Seal Sanctuary

Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.

Pleasure Island

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.

Great if all you want to do is sit in log cabin or go golfing or fishing- not really for families with small children and dogs as no walks nearby or any entertainment for children like play parks

Paid 320ish for 3 nights between Xmas and new year for 3 bedroom. The lodge was large and comfy. Very pleased with quality and how clean it was. Nice touch was the Xmas tree and complimentary bubbly and selection box . Small things but nice thought.

Nice location on golf course but not much for our under 3's to do. There is a tennis centre and obviously gold available as well as club house. It's very close to Scunthorpe which isn't great. However can't fault the lodge and immediate surrounding area.

We enjoyed a relaxing break at Grange Park Lodges. The hot tubs were clean and well maintained during our stay. The lodge itself was lovely and had a large bathroom and kitchen area.

We had a problem with a noisy party which had been going on all day, we reported this and staff dealt with this quickly.

There is not much in the surrounding area, there is a big Asda a few miles away though. I would recommend bringing essentials with you though as there is no milk, bread, tea bags etc. In the lodge in arrival.

Accommodation fantastic, only let down with going at this time of year, no restaurant open apart from Sunday, only bar meals available during the day and no evening bar available.
