Lovely and warm and cosy but a bit tired in places. Mould in the bathroom and some cobwebs high up.Information given incorrect, said there was a washing machine and no dishwasher but there was a dishwasher which was great and the tablets were provided.Staff on site very helpful.More crockery and cutlery needed and things like a mixing bowl would be helpful. All in all we enjoyed our weekend there.

This was our first time at Goodiford Mill but not our last as already booked to go again next year! The lodge and the hot tub were very clean and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. My husband said the fishing was great and the lakes are well kept and stocked. My only niggle would be that it would be nice to have a walk in shower rather than a bath with a shower over it , this would also upgrade the bathroom as it was a bit mouldy round the edges but the shower was powerful and hot.All the staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a very relaxing week. Thank you !

We had a fabulous relaxing break away. There was 9 of us who stayed, 4 adults, 5 children in 2 lodges. It was great to see the children being children and playing safely. We didn't want to leave. We all hope to visit again in the future.

stayed in 1 bedroom foxy lodge, the lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived, had a few issues with the lodge when we arrived but were resolved very quickly the next day, the bathroom is a bit tight for space, you come out the shower right next to the sink, you come out the bathroom and the door hits the wardrobe, but other than that thought the lodge was very nice, the hot tub was good and checked regularly, its very peaceful and quiet at night, its in a nice secluded area but you will need a car to visit anywhere, i enjoyed my stay there and can recommend a visit.

Excellent holiday, the merest thing is it would have been even more perfect if the quaint little Lodge overlooked the lakes or the brook - like the other lodges. Contrary to what is said on other review platforms the Lodge was immaculately clean, the staff were super aware of the CV19 guidelines, on distancing and sanitising but also super helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay in Badger lodge last week, we really found the place relaxing and enjoyable. The hot tub was lovely and Paul and the staff could not do enough for us.
The lodge itself had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the place, lots of bedding and we loved everything about it. We have never had such a relaxing holiday!
There is a pub within walking distance called the Wyndham arms which is lovely for food and drinks and was very reasonable. Apart from that, not much around but that is what we wanted! We drove to Tesco on day one and stocked up with lots of alcohol and food and we felt we did not need to go out.
No phone signal which I cannot believe people moan about on here, surely you want a break from society if coming on a trip like this?
We had a lovely romantic anniversary break, the hot tub was gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife from our hot tub!
