The apartment was newly refurbished. The fixtures and fittings were superb. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had a great range of cooking utensils and even has a coffee machine, fab!

This review was for oak as we were upgraded from Ben lomond

Lovely place, lovely views. Only thing that disappointed was a charge of £38 for electricity for 2 days stay, when we never even used the kitchen appliances, t.v or stereo. Only heating and lights. My electricity at home costs less for a month

Accomodation large, comfortable.

very spacious, comfortable lodge which suited us perfectly as a family of 5

Date of stay: 19th July 2014
Only downside was we were located on a first floor, with two sets of stairs. When booking I had advised that I had an elderly Mother with me who has poor mobility.

Excellent, would definitely recommend.

Date of stay: 22nd April 2014
The fridge and freezer were off on arrival, inconvenient as we had brought food with us.

Date of stay: 22nd March 2014
We always go to the apartments. Some were looking dated but it looks like they are now being modernised. The one bedroom Ben lomond apartment was great but a double/king bed would be better then the single beds
Jane
Lovely place with great views.

Fun Days Out near All

about 22 Miles

This living museum portrays the harsh life inside of a 19th century prison. Travel back in history on a darkly fascinating journey into life in a Victorian prison. In a time when petty theft could have you branded with a hot iron! Watch courtroom trials, talk to the prisoners and see what it was like being locked up in jail. You can also take the ghost tour. Live actors bring the setting to life.

James Hamilton Heritage Park has been awarded 4 Stars by the prestigious Visit Scotland Board and is a must visit attraction if you are in the area. The site features a gorgeous 16acre loch offering an exciting range of watersports including Canoeing and Windsurfing. Children and adults can enjoy taster sessions of most activities. The site also has two adventure playgrounds and a fleet of fun boats. The area is also abundant with wildlife and has a Bird Sanctuary.

M&D's, Scotland's Family Theme Park is a "must do" day out if you are in the Strathclyde region. The fun attraction is set within 20 acres of beautiful Country Park and offers rides, shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Besides the outdoor rides the site is also home to Amazonia - Scotland's only indoor Tropical Rainforest where visitors can meet loads of exotic animals. There is also a large indoor soft play area and an amazing glow in the dark bowling alley, so plenty to do if the weather is bad. During December Scotland's largest Grotto with animated Christmas scenes can also be enjoyed.
