Lovely park, clean, tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Caravan was also clean, bright and airy. Only thing we didnt like was the sofa, very hard and uncomfortable! Beds were very comfortable and shower was good. Some noise at night from the road but nothing to bad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the caravan itself could not be faulted and was even better than we expected, especially as it was accommodation that catered for dogs. The caravan was spotlessly clean, beds made and ready before our check in time of 4pm.It had plenty of space and everything in good working order. The only downside was the road noise, we had read about this before we booked and had an online chat with Skye about where we would be located, she assured us it would be away from the road - but this did not appear to be the case - and we all found it tricky to sleep on our first night. There is a constant rumble of traffic throughout the night. The location of the park was really handy for Dorset and the New Forest, the site was really well maintained and we would return, but perhaps to the quieter site further down the road.

Good location for exploring Dorset. The park is kept immaculate and staff were always helpful. Slight downside is noise from A31, didn't bother us but I'm sure it would bother some if they are looking for silence. Park has limited facilities but you are given passes for site just up the road which has good swimming pools and bar and restaurant. We had a 3 bedroom caravan which was good for 4 adults and 2 children. It was very clean and tidy. The furniture was not the best in terms of comfort but wouldn't stop us using park again.

The cleanest site we have stayed on, caravan was modern and spotless, staff friendly. Nice cycle through the woods to the main site for swimming pool etc. we enjoyed our stay apart from the road noise. Our caravan was at the back by the road and traffic never seemed to stop even through the night. Made it difficult to sleep.

The lodge was very clean throughout and to a high standard. It would have been perfect but for the following: the position of the lodge was right next to an extremely busy road. Morning and evening rush hours were continuously noisy and as it was close to the dual carriageway, this compounded the problem. This, more than anything else, ruined the holiday for us. We stayed a week but couldnt sleep, plus the bed was uncomfortable - no back support and far too soft for us. There was no hair dryer which is usually standard these days and there could have been more kitchen equipment. A necessary kitchen blind was missing which meant no privacy from the neighbours. We badly needed switch off time which was impossible. As we were booked somewhere else the following week we couldnt leave early unfortunately although we did ask at reception if we could move lodges but were informed it wasnt possible.

Very nice lodge really very clean. Good value for your money it was a pity about the area wish it had been more closer to the coast. But the accommodation was really very good. We would definitely book a lodge again.

Lovely break at Forest Edge, the only thing not to like is the traffic noise. Please note there is no entertainment at this site you need to walk or drive to Oakdene, if that is a concern for you stay at Oakdene.

This site suited us very well and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. The site was quiet, well maintained with good signage and friendly and helpful staff. It was brilliant as there were 2 dedicated parking spaces per caravan. The caravan was well positioned, very clean and warm. The hot tub was very clean and just the right temperature.Access was contact free and surprisingly our caravan was ready 2 hours before the given check in time. Bonus as we missed the downpour whilst unloading the car.We had an excellent week and would definitely be using this site and hopefully the same caravan in the future.

We had a lovely stay in one of your caravans, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the site is in a perfect place to get to lot of attractions and beautiful places to visit. We liked that we were a little walk away from the main site as that would have been a little busy for us all the time, it also meant that if we chose to go over we had a lovely walk through the woods. All in all a great place to stay.

Far far too noisy! Next to a busy road, said it quietened down it doesnt! Hardly any sleep through that and the constant debris clattering on the roof all night long! Trees overhang the caravan! Site is lovely and clean, staff great! No on-site facilities you have to walk a mile through the woods or drive to Oakdene where all the facilities are!My advice book on Oakdene if you can only get forest edge make sure you have a caravan in the centre of the site away from the road! You will always hear traffic as on the A31 but not as loud and no trees in the centre

We really enjoyed our stay at Forest Edge. We like the fact that it is a small site but also connected to Oakdene. We didn't realise it was about a miles walk to Oakdene. It's fine when you know, but it's not just a quick walk & too far for small children. It was quite wet & muddy when we walked it.Our only negatives on the caravan would be that there are no sockets in the second bedroom & the sofa is not very comfortable.

Caravan was a really good size (extra wide). Plenty of space for a family, well equipped, clean, good parking, and quiet on the park itself. Free WiFi is an absolute bonus and great touch. It was a short drive (3 mins) or walk (15 mins) to the sister park where there is an indoor pool, bar, restaurant and arcade. Could do with new cushions on the sofa though as it was a bit hard to sit on.Less good was how close the caravan is to the main road. We read reviews and felt we were good enough sleepers so it wouldnt affect us, but it did. Because it is on a roundabout boy racers (loud exhausts) accelerate away and are very loud when it is otherwise a peaceful evening, it is also the main route from Southampton to Dorchester (and the wider South West) so Lorries are travelling throughout the night, be warned!!!Its is a good location for the main Dorset/Hampshire/Wiltshire/Somerset towns and cities. Its a short drive to lots of good attractions (although some of the A roads are in a shocking condition) and the traffic from Bournemouth to Poole is ridiculous. We would only stay again if we had a caravan away from the road. But as it wasnt cheap to stay here (given the lack of direct facilities) my guess is that the quieter caravans are even more expensive, they looked smaller and closer together, so its hard to see any value in staying here again. We almost certainly wont return.
