Spent the weekend at Dovestone lodges last week and had the perfect break. Lodge and hot tub 5 and just perfect after a walk around the reservoir. Pods very basic but also perfect if you take your own bedding and pots/pans. We hadnt seen the pots and pans bit on the website so bit stuck as couldnt even make a cup of tea. Hence we upgraded. Staff amazing and so helpful, we would definitely recommend and hopefully return in the very near future. Thank you for the lovely welcome you gave us!

Date of stay: 3rd November 2019
Everything was lovely, however we went on a very wet weekend in November so decking was very slippy and extremely dangerous, 2 guests actually fell one really hurt her back and twisted her knee. Maybe that needs to be looked at being replaced. Other than that everything was fantastic, will definitely be booking again

Date of stay: 9th August 2019
Pods are clean and comfortable with great little showroom and loo inside. Beds were comfy too and there is plenty of storage space. We didn't like the pull down table in the kitchen area with the bar stools, it sat at an angle and we didn't trust it to take the weight of our meals so ate outside! The bar stools weren't great for sitting late in the evenings when kids were in their beds - seats would have been better.

Couldnt of asked for a better break away, perfect for couples and families of all ages. The lodge has everything you need and is very well maintained. Recommended.

Lovely weekend break had with my friend in the pod, I didn't take my dog but site very pet and child friendly. Dovestone reservoir is a short walk away and easily accessible the whole way around (about 2.5 miles). Relaxing time had!

Date of stay: 10th June 2019
The pod is smaller inside than it looks on the photos (mainly the kitchen space) but for what it is and the cost it was great and we would definitely use one again.
Jayne, St Neots

Great long weekend at a chilly start to May. Will return
Derek, Blyth
Date of stay: 3rd May 2019
We stopped in one of the Dovestone Spa lodges with spa, when we arrived we were shown round the lodge by the very helpful receptionist, everything was spotless and there was everything we needed. The lodge was warm, comfortable, well equipped, the shower was hot and powerful (Though a little slow draining) and the hot tub was a great place to relax.

Beds a bit soft for our liking (this is always down to personal preference).

Ahmed, Manchester
Date of stay: 1st April 2019
nice and clean lodges. the staff were very friendly. I will just state the things that they can improve:
- I asked for a baby cot (paid 10 pounds for this) but I just had a baby cot without bedding. no way the baby can sleep on this unless they have some bedding and foam mattress. I asked the staff to have a foam bed but she did not find any bedding. we were 3 adults and have four bed. so at the end, I used the blanket of one bed and use it as a bed for my baby.
- In the description, they stated the wifi is available in the lodges. but at least in my lodge, there was no wifi and I can have little wifi signal when I go out the lodge.
Eric, Leicester
