tomster
very good loved it

Date of stay: 1st April 2024
The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but that might be personal choice. One of the sofas was losing some of it's comfort but other than that the lodge was very good.

Richmond is one of my favourite lodges to stay in. Located with a beautiful view. Watching the sunset was magical in the evenings.

We were there from Friday-Monday. We were 2 adults with 3 kids (9, 4, 2). Honestly we had an amazing time. The caravan was spotless, sparkling clean and smelling fresh when we arrived. The check in and check out process was very simple, we had no issues. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and very happy to help out with anything you need. The whole park is clean and not a site of rubbish anywhere. Its absolutely beautiful, specially the view. The facilities for families are amazing and we had an amazing time. We would definitely be coming back! Thank youThe Montana caravan is truly beautiful and very well kept. We absolutely had an amazing time!

The lodge is spacious and well fitted, the view beautiful. We would recommend more cups, plates than one per person as you have supplied a dishwasher but we had to wash after every meal because there was not enough crockery!!

Lovely spacious lodge, spotlessly clean, excellent views when good weather, lodge has everything you need, all kitchen items and plenty of baking trays and even oven gloves and table mats unlike the majority of lodges we have stayed in.The little extras like a few tea/coffee bits and even some biscuits! As we stayed at New year there was even a little Christmas tree up and decorated and the table layed out with crackers, party poppers and serviettes, and a box of chocolates.Perfect.

We had an amazing holiday! When we first arrived we were greeted by amazing reception staff who helped us find our lodge. The lodge itself was very modern, clean and welcoming. Fully stocked with kitchen utensils/ equipment and a few essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, washing sponges etc, All bedrooms were clean and well presented with fresh towels for the beautiful bathrooms, it was a nice touch having accessible bath mats for the showers as they can be slippery for younger guests. Netflix and YouTube were a good bonus and kept our sim very entertained. Perfect for long stays! Our hot tub was cleaned on our day of arrival and was very easy to use it was definitely a highlight for our holiday! The food in the restaurant was always made fresh and well presented, good prices too! Staff everywhere were super helpful and friendly. Only note would be more veggies available would be good!Small shop at reception to stock up on food/ essentials you may have missed all local which was a nice touch. My son loved purchasing the fish food and feeding the fish!Small soft area indoors and outdoors for children so is great for both weathers. My husband and I both went to the spa where we both had a back, neck and shoulder massage which was lovely and very reasonably priced. Sauna was lovely and hot, pool space for children. Unfortunately steam room was shut so cant mention that. Only downside was we went to go swimming but werent told that between 1-2pm its adult only which would have been helpful to know beforehand.Overall lovely stay here and would definitely go again!

Home from home comfort, comfortable accommodation. Good kitchen facilities with fridge and freezer. Our lodge was in a very private setting not overlooked and was able to use the hot tub and see the shooting stars. Perfect break for my birthday.

Last three visits weve had to have repairs carried out but staff very knowledgable, quick and quiet. Some lodges just need general update/modernisation. Also kitchen equipment in our last lodge 106 seemed to be being run down. Few spoons, no lids for oven cooking dishes.

Date of stay: 5th November 2023
The only issues we had were the lack of WiFi and intermittent heating. Due to poor internet, once our son was in bed it limited our entertainment options but the reception had a bag of DVDs to choose from and a Freeview box so we were able to find something. The heater was difficult to work out but it warmed us enough on the whole so wasn't too bad, just frustrating! The sofas and beds were comfy, the lodge was clean and had everything we need

Great place to stay easy reach to Hastings, Lewes, Eastbourne. Site layout great but bar area needs updating and chairs need reupholstering as arms dirty and greasy. Not nice to sit there. Staff were great.
Dipika, London
Date of stay: 29th August 2020
The overall lodge was lovely, our fridge cupboard door was broken and the oven was quite dirty inside, we didn't use it. there were cobwebs where the curtain rails are and some places were dusty.. overall it was lovely, just a few things here and there... the seal around the gas hob was half off so exposed some dirt there, felt unclean when prepping meals and cooking.
Alison, Southampton
Date of stay: 24th August 2020
a lovely park and location but should be made clear before paying that the activities aren't running.

James, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 7th August 2020
Really good all in all... just one thing I would suggest would be to make the park more obvious to travellers arriving from the Hastings direction... it is so easy to miss
Trevor, Gb
Date of stay: 1st August 2020
The only gripe about out stay in the accommodation (California 8) was that the TV kept losing the signal. I am unsure if this was due to the aerial not being aligned with the transmitter or a case of poor signal quality in the area. We were not too fussed by it but it could be a problem for other customers.
Marion, Gb
Date of stay: 20th July 2020
Our lodge could have done with repairs to the outside of the building. The hot tub was great but not as powerful as tubs we have previously used.

The views from the park are stunning with the sea in the distance
Andrew, Bromley
Date of stay: 17th July 2020
We had a really Nice relaxing holiday. Just what we all needed .
Stephen, Dartford
Date of stay: 17th July 2020
Low mark was due to the fact the gym was closed and that was not your fault.
Shirley, St Helens
Date of stay: 13th March 2020
Lovely Lodge, very spacious. Well equipped with what you need.
Brenda
Beautiful location, great staff. Overall brilliant. Its why we keep returning. Our only criticism this stay was there was two small "sofa's" which were really very small, given its a cabin for four people. There also no cushions, so one person was sitting on the floor with out even a cushion. But over all still our go to place.
Julian
Great stay, good location and facilities. Helpful and friendly staff ??????????
David
Lodge was lovely site very clean and the staff are wonderful
Daniel
Superb A1 a lovely lovely site
Lynne
We spent the time as a spa retreat and the staff at the spa were fantastic. The swimming pool and gym facilities were clean and staff were friendly. We liked the takeaway deliver to your lodge service. The food was excellent. The views over to the South Downs and across to the sea were beautiful.
Diane
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodges, lovely view, very friendly and helpful staff and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. The swimming pool was really good and as a non-swimmer I found the steps, bars and shallow water very helpful.
Chris
Crowhurst is a beautiful peaceful place to stay, this was our second visit and we enjoyed it. But there were a couple of little things we thought they could of done to make the say a little better. Some comfortable soft furniture on the deck for relaxing in would have been nice, instead of the hard ridged chairs that are there. Also some sort of sun shade/large umbrella that could be used to give you some shade while in the hot tub. Our tub was in direct sunlight all day till sunset.
Cynthia
Everyone very helpful, holiday was good. Pool very good. Childrens playground was a little difficult being on steep slope. Enjoyed our time there.
Jonathan
Our second visit. Such a lovely place. Accomodation is great and the staff are exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Pool is superb and the grounds are kept immaculate. 15 mins to the town centre and lovely beaches. Great family park.
Norman
Excellent from start to finish. We'll be back
Alec
Very nice place
