Apart from the two power cuts which were out of the sites control and the lack of storage in the bedrooms, it was was a great holiday in the perfect location for what we we wanted. The caravan was clean, well equipped, and when called upon, the maintenance staff were excellent.

Visited in September. Stayed in Woodlands area and it was very peaceful. Two adults. We didnt take part in any activities but used it as a base for sightseeing. The caravan was spotless, with all the kitchen equipment youd need. Plus there was heating, including an electric fire and central heating. Some faint stains and tufts of fabric on the sofas but it was the end of the Summer season and a small thing overall because the cleaners had done a great job.

Appreciate as a dog friendly caravan its not going to be perfect, but the smell of wet dog in the caravan was overpowering. The staff when they came round to check if we happy said we could get the caravan treated with a odour bomb if we could be out for an hour. This should be done as a matter of course before somebody stays. Carpet was laden with dog hair, sofa cushions were badly stained. Pull out bed for persons 7 and 8 was terrible, the mattress was so thin you couldnt sleep on it and it was so dusty. There was also no bedding for the pull out bed for night one. We were due to stay for 3 nights. Day 2 we had no water at all on site. Day 3 there was no water pressure so we came home early. No oven gloves in kitchen. Very close to next caravans.

The caravan itself was fantastic, clean and bigger than we anticipated. The outside steps where quite covered in bird dirt, and although thats not in the staffs control, we feel they could have been cleaned before our arrival. There was a small issue with the heating, but the staff were quick to fix the problem. One annoyance was the lack off paths, once you left the road. So when accessing the caravan, we had no choice but to walk over the grass, often very wet. There was a very thin path from the carpark to our caravan however it was covered with twigs and nature mess so wasn't safely usable, especially for our child.

Overall very pleased with the accommodation and location, this was marked down slightly because of the WiFi we payed mainly to play music and although the WiFi mast was very close the signal was very weak if at all. I would advise not to pay for wifi and just catch up at reception on your way out for the day.

Apprehensive arriving due to covid but contactless check in worked well and the caravan was spotless. Arcade clean and we had takeaway from the restaurant which we ordered on the app and collected which was really nice. Lovely site close to a great beach, definitely recommend. Our only fault was parking was a challenge over the weekend when more people were on site so we had to park quite a distance from our caravan.

Caravan was lovely and homely. Dodgy toaster tripped electricity x3 but was replaced when required. Caravan could have done with a working hoover so we could help clean better especially having a dog. The small. Hoover in the caravan was taped together and poor. Park was small and clean. Lovely setting.

Very lot hot water pressure in kitchen. Kettle was a little annoying as switch was loose. Apart from that, everything was perfect. A well equipped, clean caravan.

We were a party of 8 staying in the Chillingham caravan. It was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. Only negative was the muddy area right outside the caravan. One of the twin rooms had bunk beds.

Overall a very lovely four night break. Would definitely recommend.

The only slight niggle would be your recycling facility's.
A glass bank would be recommended for glass bottles, as I saw an awful lot in the recycling bin, which wouldn't take glass.
The recycling bin also seemed to contain a lot of general waste, which had either been put in by mistake or because the general waste bins were full.
I just felt slightly disappointed that you have provided recycling facility's but some guests are not using the correct bins.
I know this is probably beyond your control and may require some thought.
Maybe provide each caravan with a recycling box for their recyclable waste, which could be emptied straight into the correct bin every other day or so.

I've loved every minute of it, only regret is not taking advantage of the rebooking scheme where you rebook another holiday whilst there and receive a %off.
