Visitor Reviews of Cresswell Towers

Tracy, Shiremoor Newcastle Upon Tyne
Date of stay: 31st August 2020
Very nice inside plenty of room
John, Cirencester
Date of stay: 15th August 2020
Overall very pleased with the accommodation and location, this was marked down slightly because of the WiFi we payed mainly to play music and although the WiFi mast was very close the signal was very weak if at all. I would advise not to pay for wifi and just catch up at reception on your way out for the day.

Lovely lodge in a nice quiet part of the park.

Date of stay: 10th August 2020
Apprehensive arriving due to covid but contactless check in worked well and the caravan was spotless. Arcade clean and we had takeaway from the restaurant which we ordered on the app and collected which was really nice. Lovely site close to a great beach, definitely recommend. Our only fault was parking was a challenge over the weekend when more people were on site so we had to park quite a distance from our caravan.

Caravan was lovely and homely. Dodgy toaster tripped electricity x3 but was replaced when required. Caravan could have done with a working hoover so we could help clean better especially having a dog. The small. Hoover in the caravan was taped together and poor. Park was small and clean. Lovely setting.

Very lot hot water pressure in kitchen. Kettle was a little annoying as switch was loose. Apart from that, everything was perfect. A well equipped, clean caravan.

We were a party of 8 staying in the Chillingham caravan. It was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. Only negative was the muddy area right outside the caravan. One of the twin rooms had bunk beds.

Overall a very lovely four night break. Would definitely recommend.

The only slight niggle would be your recycling facility's.
A glass bank would be recommended for glass bottles, as I saw an awful lot in the recycling bin, which wouldn't take glass.
The recycling bin also seemed to contain a lot of general waste, which had either been put in by mistake or because the general waste bins were full.
I just felt slightly disappointed that you have provided recycling facility's but some guests are not using the correct bins.
I know this is probably beyond your control and may require some thought.
Maybe provide each caravan with a recycling box for their recyclable waste, which could be emptied straight into the correct bin every other day or so.

I've loved every minute of it, only regret is not taking advantage of the rebooking scheme where you rebook another holiday whilst there and receive a %off.

Date of stay: 22nd April 2019
The fact I had to complain for the first time ever about a holiday speaks volumes.
It's a great holiday park , but the wait to book in(we did arrive early to avoid problems , as we did on previous stays here) spoils it all, I have never seen another guest screaming at check in through sheer frustration at staff.
It was so bad I nearly got back in my car and drove home.
James, Northallerton

Excellent base for visiting Northumberland coast and Castles
Louise, Newton Aycliffe
Date of stay: 3rd August 2018
This caravan was a bit older than the one that we have previously stayed in and although it was clean the furniture was a bit worn.
Allister, Aberdeen

Karen, Paisley Scotland
Date of stay: 28th July 2018
Lovely caravan, clean and well stocked. We only had 2 adults so we had loads of space. Beds were immaculate including mattress, duvets & pillows.
We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.
