East Sussex » Hastings

Coghurst Hall is set on the edge of the historic coastal town of Hastings, hidden in a beautiful tree-lined valley.

With family-friendly facilities, a stunning fishing lake, and the many attractions of East Sussex close by, Coghurst Hall is the perfect location for your holiday or short break.

The lord of the manor has long since departed, but the beauty of the country estate remains.

The focal point of this woodland park is its impressive lake which is well stocked with a range of fish, and includes some monster carp - so don’t forget your fishing rod!*

The clubhouse offers traditional, stately decor with a laid-back atmosphere, so you can relax and unwind in plush surroundings.

Our indoor pool is unique and gives the impression you could be swimming through underground caves!

Hastings is just a short drive away and is enjoying a transformation as a fashionable holiday resort.

The Old Town is a hotspot of trendy bars and restaurants, whilst the traditional seaside amusements, boating lake and crazy golf course, which incidentally holds the "World Crazy Golf Championships" every year, remain as popular as ever.

So visit Coghurst Hall for your Sussex holiday, we’re sure that you’ll be impressed.

although caravan was excellent, d area is very poor. needs reviewing of the people who live on a permanent basis there. also ground staff need to improve the area, they seem to neglect it in favour of the rest of the park. there are no views as you are surrounded by trees and caravans. there is a slight embankment to the caravans, so you struggle carrying your cases.

The caravan was absolutely fine, we had a couple of issues but nothing major. It was clean and comfortable, perfect for what we needed.

Out in the wilderness... which is nice, except we had trouble finding it - sign posts not much good as too few. On the whole though - enjoyable trip.

We really enjoyed our visit to Coghurst Hall. I spent most weekends & school holidays there in my youth. We were impressed by the stall coming to our caravan to check if everything was ok

Absolutely lovely, really enjoyed our 4 day break, site is lovely and quiet, little disco is great, not at all rowdy and was not disturbed once during the night. It's great for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely be returning, as there is so many interesting places to visit, we just ran out of time.

The caravan was almost new. Lovely caravan. Separate bathroon/toilet is a great idea. Large shower was wonderful. There was a bit if wood shavings in wardrobes which could easily have been hoovered. It didn't mention that we would need to bring our own oven gloves and at least 1 larger saucepans would have been appreciated (cooking for 8). The caravan was a big asset in our opinion of the holiday.

Lovely views, wonderful to have outside decking and table. Only criticism is that the clubhouse is quite small and tables are at a premium

Expectation of Gold plus not fully met, bit dated.

I felt at home right away in this accomodation . I worried that there was no central heating but the gas fire had the place cosy in a minute
I would like to see a larger t,v, and a more substantial set of steps to enter the door but that did not spoil a thing .

The caravan was of a very low standard. Only one window openned, trim had fallen off of two windows, taps dripped, no instructions for the use of TV / decoder, no net curtains.

The caravan was very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and better than a lot of caravan's we have stayed in.

Was in gold plus valley 77 if you can get this caravan. . It's spacious exceptionally clean... beautiful veranda sat out in the evenings overlooking the lake... only thing is staff tend to site on their green top eating lunch. . Putting boxes in open top bin.. just a suggestion may be have a seagull proof bin. . As several times my 12 year old daughter Wentworth to pick up boxes that seagulls had pulled outside as she was afraid the ducks and ducklings would try and eat them.. only a suggestion nt a complaint
