The clubhouse offers traditional, stately decor with a laid-back atmosphere, so you can relax and unwind in plush surroundings.

Our indoor pool is unique and gives the impression you could be swimming through underground caves!

Hastings is just a short drive away and is enjoying a transformation as a fashionable holiday resort.

The Old Town is a hotspot of trendy bars and restaurants, whilst the traditional seaside amusements, boating lake and crazy golf course, which incidentally holds the "World Crazy Golf Championships" every year, remain as popular as ever.

So visit Coghurst Hall for your Sussex holiday, we’re sure that you’ll be impressed.

We just used the caravan as a base so didn't make use of any of the park's facilities. The caravan was clean and tidy. Bedrooms were a bit snug but manageable. Just a few minor niggles: rubber seal on shower door was loose - water leaked out on to the shower room floor; the fan in the shower room was not working so build-up of condensation; there were no toilet brushes to clean the toilets; a couple of the window handles didn't lock properly; the heating in the caravan did not work no matter what we tried and the control panel in the lounge area made some worrying noises! As we were stripping the beds prior to vacating the caravan, we found that the pillows in one of the small bedrooms were soaking wet where they had been in contact with the wall.We didn't have a chance to raise these concerns at the park as we had to leave early due to family circumstances but I have a survey form to send back to them

A great wooded park. Great surroundings. A lovely caravan very clean and tidy with all the facilities you may require with parking and small enclosed garden. Beautiful lake setting with fishing if you want. The only one down side was we found the bed too soft and uncomfortable so had poor sleep all week. Overall it was excellent, a great park. We had taken out collie dog who loved it it the wooded setting. Thank you. We will return again.

Caravan gold plus. Very xusappointed. We thought with the photos how lovely to be by a beautiful lake. No such luck. Residential all the way round the lake. We were put 2nd row back out of sight with no view at all and the worst of it was no decking at all so if we wanted to sit outside had to go to the club house. But with a dog not allowed inside. The outside club house decking was for smokers so we had to sit behind the facilities at the side.

The beds werent correctly made on arrival, the bedsheets were half on, looked as if theyd just been thrown on. Also on arrival, In the twin bedroom, the floor/ carpet was absolutely saturated with water, Which then left the room smelling damp and mouldy for the trip there, as it dried.I dont see how that had been approved by a cleaner. Also pet friendly but isnt at all pet safe, the steps are too high, quite dangerous for anyone, especially between the ground and the first step, theres a lot of space between. And a lot of space between all the steps. Our dog fell down the steps 3 times. -I dont see why the caravan couldnt have a decking area with better steps, or even turn the caravan around so the door meets the ground a lot easier. The steps are dangerous, a step needs to be placed on the ground. My son struggled with the steps as well. Not idle for pets, elderly or children. For Gold I expect a lot more, it was very basic. Id hate to see the bronze or silver, if ours was gold. The facilities were average, shop was poor, clubhouse over priced. Swimming pool was poor, doesnt have lockers, changing rooms are small and toilets, swimming pool not really child friendly. Swimming pool plays loud club music, staff thinking theyre in Ibiza, not appropriate for a 5year old at 11am. Also, the workers of the site, I saw one driving around talking on her mobile phone, in a kart, completely didnt see my son and almost ran him over.as she was on her phone When the rules stipulate these roads are to be treated under traffic regulations as theyre connected to the highway! She didnt even know shed almost ran him over, nor even saw any of us. An accident waiting to happen. Furthermore prior to the trip, I received a call from the site, which was nice and appreciated. She asked for my number plate. To speed up check in. I gave it to her phonetically, I also gave her a second one, as I explained we had two cars coming. But on arrival at check in, my number plate wasnt at all recorded correctly, it was a different number plate. And the additional number plate wasnt even there. So that call was pointless, and didnt at all speed check in up.

although caravan was excellent, d area is very poor. needs reviewing of the people who live on a permanent basis there. also ground staff need to improve the area, they seem to neglect it in favour of the rest of the park. there are no views as you are surrounded by trees and caravans. there is a slight embankment to the caravans, so you struggle carrying your cases.

We really enjoyed our visit to Coghurst Hall. I spent most weekends & school holidays there in my youth. We were impressed by the stall coming to our caravan to check if everything was ok

Absolutely lovely, really enjoyed our 4 day break, site is lovely and quiet, little disco is great, not at all rowdy and was not disturbed once during the night. It's great for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely be returning, as there is so many interesting places to visit, we just ran out of time.

The caravan was almost new. Lovely caravan. Separate bathroon/toilet is a great idea. Large shower was wonderful. There was a bit if wood shavings in wardrobes which could easily have been hoovered. It didn't mention that we would need to bring our own oven gloves and at least 1 larger saucepans would have been appreciated (cooking for 8). The caravan was a big asset in our opinion of the holiday.

Lovely views, wonderful to have outside decking and table. Only criticism is that the clubhouse is quite small and tables are at a premium

I felt at home right away in this accomodation . I worried that there was no central heating but the gas fire had the place cosy in a minute
I would like to see a larger t,v, and a more substantial set of steps to enter the door but that did not spoil a thing .
