Would have been a good holiday if it werent for the rude staff who refused to heat the pool after repeated requests from our children despite it being advertised as a heated pool at time of purchase. Extremely disappointing, although caravan was spotless and location is pretty. Nothing to do though so a waste of money.

We were relocated to Cockerham and it turned out to be the best thing for us as we loved our 7 days in Lancashire and had a fantastic, fun family time. We loved the park and the caravan. We didnt want to leave.
We would love to go back but and there is only one but, the three mile lane that leads to the caravan park is absolutely horrendous in parts. It is uneven and very damaged causing us to catch the underneath of our car on the road several times. There are many scratches in the tarmac where this awful, awful road catches everyone out at some point. It really was a horrendous lane to deal with, especially in the dark. As well as the awful uneven surface it is also very narrow on parts and hard to pass another vehicle. We heard of cars going over the ditches and getting stuck as well as a food delivery van going over the edge and getting stuck. The lane would be the only reason we wouldnt return.

Excellent clean fresh caravan. Only issue is no path to actual stair which resulted in mud bath x

Can thoroughly recommend to others. We stayed out of a need for accommodation to see a sick relative. The location was lovely and peaceful and suited the purpose of our stay.

This was a brand new caravan in its first season so was in excellent condition, one problem was the microwave oven which was so complicated nobody on the staff knew how to work it .

Overall a very enjoyable place to visit. The only downside is the distance you have to travel to get to the nearby towns such as Lancaster,Morecambe or Garstang. But then I guess the seclusion is the charm of this quiet and lovely site.
Would I book again??. Yes I certainly will.

Date of stay: 24th August 2019
All in all, we had an excellent holiday all within 3 hour's from home.
The children loved the play areas and were welcomed into the bar as long as they behaved. They spent most nights in the play areas that were safe for them to play.
An excellent site all round.

Lovely caravan cant fault it just not enough to do on sight and the distance to travel to get to other places, food in the restaurant not the best either
