Date of stay: 26th January 2020
Lovely apartment which is well laid out and had every kitchen item you would need, I was very impressed with the attention to detail of the kitchen items and we didn't need anything that wasn't provided. Upstairs neighbour was very noisy, felt deliberate at times (sounded like jumping on the spot, walking on heels) and this made me feel quite uneasy, noise went on into the early hours.

A very peaceful and relaxing holiday before the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Great walking country ranging from a saunter down the former railway path to the more rugged terrain of the moorland.

Date of stay: 18th November 2019
Great apartment, warm and cosy on our November break away.
Well equipped kitchen, everything you could need.
Shop just across the road.
Great walks locally.
2 great pubs in Llanarmon.
Just a couple of snags - the TV in the main bedroom didn't work, neither did the shower.
Minor points that didn't detract from our holiday.

Date of stay: 10th November 2019
Very clean apartment which was well stocked with a whole variety of kitchenware and equipment. Very snug and cosy family stay. Only very slight downside was hot water is provided through a tank and because we all wanted a shower in the morning and are used to an electric shower at home, the water ran out before all 4 of us could get through it. We could have adjusted our shower timings to combat this and we did find a boost button on the boiler part way through our stay which helped. We will definitely stay again.

I would happily recommend this apartment.

I scored the Ty Nant apartment at 9, because I think the dark green tiles and dark green carpet could be updated to more neutral decor (this is personal preference of course) and the building opposite needs a bit of a tidy up, although this does not spoil the view of the valley. The robes and slippers and welcome pack on arrival are a lovely touch.

We had two weeks in Ty Nant, at Ceiriog Valley Apartments. This was a fabulous base for us to either relax in the apartment (enjoying the view of the valley, a good book and great food using the well equipped kitchen) or to explore Wales. We enjoyed a few trips into Snowdonia National Park and also a drive to Conwy. Llangollen and Chirk are both close by for more local shopping and trips. The Spar next to the apartment is also well stocked and the staff are very friendly.

The Mae Hafan apartment is on the ground floor and is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher. On arrival there is a complementary bottle and there are sachets of coffee and tea. There are limited television stations on the 3 televisions in the apartment. The shower was excellent with great water pressure and the water was piping hot. The apartment has storage heaters which I could not work out how they worked because they never seemed to be on, in the lounge there was a electric wall fire which really chucked out some heat. There is a folder in the apartment which includes all the information you require about the local amenities including the nearest supermarkets, post office, banks, chemists etc.

Everything you need for a self catering holiday is there. It could have done with a cleaner floor but there was a Hoover in the foyer so we did it ourselves. We had to use the boost button for the hot water quite often as the tank didn't seem to keep hot all day. Luckily our upstairs neighbour was quiet but I can see what people mean about the noisy floors.
We had 4 lovely nights there and we would go again as it was great value for money and really the niggles I have highlighted were very minor.
Easy to sign on to the wi fi.

Perfect for the two of us, was comfy and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and the heated towel rail in the bathroom was the icing on the cake for me!
