Excellent place to stay

We had a great time. We will definitely return.
Rosie, Leicestershire
Date of stay: 28th August 2020
Our lodge was lovely and of a very high standard. The kitchen, in particular, was very well equipped. Mattresses and sofas were supportive and comfortable. Above all, everything was spotlessly clean, which made us feel safe and relaxed. The only thing we lacked was the ability to watch DVDs or access our online TV subscriptions - something that my teenagers were disappointed about and we'd had in other lodges elsewhere. But they did welcome the very good Wifi.

High quality accommodation is a main advantage of this park. Location is good if you need to be in that part of Kent, between 30 and 50 minutes to a few good beaches, close to Canterbury (15 minutes drive). On a negative side park is located among the farm fields with no walking / running routes available, you need to drive absolutely everywhere. Seen many people arriving and hoping to go for a walk or a run around and were disappointed as had to come back. Also nothing at all in the walking distance, no pub or a shop, even a corner shop so once again need to drive for every meal out, every walk and to get milk if you run out. Car is the must
Sheryl, Macclesfield, Cheshire
Date of stay: 8th August 2020
not 10s just because of the small issues we had but would definitely return
Lorraine, Bromley
Date of stay: 7th August 2020
mazing Lodge and location was pretty good. Only a 10 minute drive to Canterbury town. Also a good distance to Whitstable too. The only disappointment was our terrace was covered in trees most of the time and a few naughty wasps, so unfortunately couldn't sit out on the terrace which would have made our trip a 10/10.
Lorna, Orpington

Great value for money

Date of stay: 1st August 2020
We really enjoyed our holiday, our only complaint was that the lodge was quite hot, when we came back after a day out we had to open all the doors and windows and draw the blinds on the sunshine!
A few fans would have been useful!

Could have done with a few more items in the kitchen but otherwise perfect
Caroline, Darwen
Date of stay: 17th July 2020

Linda, Luton
Date of stay: 17th July 2020
If you want to just relax, enjoy a peaceful, secluded location, with very helpful and friendly staff, this is for you. You do need a car, however. The Lodges are spacious and have everything you would want to enjoy your holiday. Fairly good location to use as a base to Ramsgate, Margate, Canterbury and other places in the area.
Maureen, Northwich
Date of stay: 17th July 2020
Restful, peaceful, lovely south facing verandah to have cocktails on.
Antonia, London
Date of stay: 13th July 2020
Lovely accommodation in a really nice area.
Kerry, Northwood
Date of stay: 13th July 2020
The lodge was clean, but the outside balcony area, table and chairs were not. I had to clean the table and chairs myself before using. The outside area was covered in old bird muck and the ashtray was full of old cigarette butts.
I do understand that the lodges have not been used for months, and it will have taken a lot of man-hours to get the site ready.
Elizabeth, Croydon Surrey
Date of stay: 12th July 2020
We will be going back.
Reg, Folkestone
Date of stay: 11th July 2020
Get rid of the wooden bar at the base of the bed, and the kitchen blind could not be raised as it was broken. Otherwise most enjoyable.
Gary, Bedford
Date of stay: 10th July 2020
Brrom would have been handy with the outside leaves on decking
Russ, Gosport
Date of stay: 20th March 2020
The peace and quiet of the place is in stark contrast to the busy town of Canterbury. You have the choice of visiting a very historic town, or relaxing in the very comfortable accommodation. You can have as much or as little contact with the site staff as you want. 16:00 did seem a little late for getting access to the lodges, as there in an evening meal to prepare for, and to leave at 10:00 does seem a little early. With 40+ lodges to prepare for the next group of holidaymakers, the devil is in the detail, and the lodge was cleaned to a high degree of cleanliness.
The only thing that I lacked in the kitchen was a wok, the large 5 burner hob did have a wok ring so I was surprised that there was not a wok too. As the chef I try to make the menu as varied as possible, and this would have made Chinese night a little bit easier to prepare for.
James, Crawley

10/10 - one of the best
