Our lodge was the perfect lodge for me and my partner we only had 2 minor issues, one was the WIFI keep cutting out when in the living/kitchen area which when watching things late at night was a little frustrating as there was a constant buffer and the heating in the living area kept turning its self off and it was rather chilly in that room when this happened but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend if your looking for a little UK getaway.

This was a surprise weekend away for my mums 60th! There was 7 of us, the rooms were great, beds were comfy. The heating in the master bedroom didnt work so my mum was very cold the first night. The heating was fixed the next day. The hot tub was great but it was really hard to get the lid off and back on again and the controls were the opposite side youd get in which was hard to check temp before taking off the lid. There wasnt enough places to dry swimsuits and towels after using the facilities this was quite disappointing. In the livingroom there wasnt enough seating which was quite disappointing with the age of our party goers. Would be good to have a drinks fridge as again with 7 people there wasnt much room for the food we needed for the time we were there especially with no near by shops. The WiFi just didnt hold any sort of signal so I wouldnt go here with my kids as my soon is autistic and without his routine of tablet time he wouldnt settle well.

we had a great time , lodge was clean and had everything we needed for a few days break away. only thing the park was very dark at nights not many lights dotted around which made walking the dog quite hard needed to use torch on our phones and we couldn't see the lodge numbers when checking in , but apart from that everything was great

Lodge was great and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a pet friendly lodge and there was a bowl and a towel for your furry friends. In this lodge there was chargeable torch that you could use on your late dog walks, which we found as great idea. Again lady with glasses from reception (sorry can't remember your name) was amaizing and always helpfull. We will be back for sure.

We stayed here as a family of four, although the facilities were closed on the site this did not stop our enjoyment. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The lodge was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the takeaway pizzas they offered. The lodge is well located for Girvan beach, we drove to Ayr where we visited the town and beach had fish and chips and visited the amusements.

Well equipped and beautiful lodge. Only one complaint, the layout in the kitchen is not suitable for a 51. Lady. I could not reach most of the things in the kitchen as the units were too high.

Only issue I would say about Ailsa craig is that the 2 bedrooms downstairs had no heaters so it was absolutely freezing down there and unfortunately the heating upstairs didn't make any difference to warming downstairs so the children woke up to freezing and went to sleep in the freezing

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, I would recommend the park and facilities to anyone. If you want a retreat and are happy with the woodland walks and making your own fun, this could be the perfect place. For those who like eating out and dont like spending too long in the car, then the location might be a little limiting.
Paula, South Shields

So tranquil and peaceful, beautiful scenery. Loved our stay and will recommend to all our friends and family
